Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe lady serving heated egg dishes and espresso had a bit of a negative attitude and when we ordered 2 espressos and she only served one, I said we ordered 2 and another patron walked up to counter, instead of fixing issue and telling next person after us she'd be with them in a moment, she told me " then you'll wait".
Clean, 24 hour gym & pool. Healthy options for breakfast like almond and oat milk, agave, yogurt bar, almond butter, juices and espresso.

United StatesElement hotel is in midtown It is fairly new, with a friendly staff. Valet parking. The downtown area was not in walking distance, for example the arch is too far to walk to, but an easy 10-15 minute drive. Many restaurants across the street. The room was fresh and new. The bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable, and the night was quiet. We had a good stay here.

Breakfast is okay, room for improvement and could do with more alternatives though from the kitchen. PLUS, you need to have some real black tea there for breakfast. As an Englishman, I have NEVER seen anyone drink "decaffeinated black tea"! and that's all you had? I went and bought my own tea bags from the grocery store across the street. The toaster needs an upgrade, I heard several people talking about how useless it was. It took me 3 attempts to get the toast even slightly brown. So breakfast is okay, but needs some improvement, maybe a little better staffed.

The staff was very friendly! The location is great as it is across the street from the Foundry and the City Winery (we went to a concert). The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast provided was great, providing a wide variety of foods. An added bonus was the security. You couldn't go up the elevators without swiping your key.

This hotel was close to everything, yet traffic was not a nightmare to contend with. The Food Hall across the street was exceptional with great live music. The staff at the hotel were all so very polite and courteous. Everything at the hotel was way above expectations! Clean, safe, quiet, relaxing!

perfect location and very clean. we had rooms in the 7th floor so made good use of the bar and rooftop deck. nice little cafe in the bottom floor for coffee etc. Breakfast was included - typical bagels, fruit etc. Fun mix of restaurants across the street (Foundry) that we visited repeatedly - our kids loved it! Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the valet staff. We have family in St. Louis so this is our new go-to hotel!
