Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe staff were very unfriendly, the room given to us had a large water damage spot on ceiling, along with 8 repair spots of some sort along the ceiling and window drapes, when I turned the bed covers down there was a wasp under the bed sheets, alive and moving, the fitted bed sheet was not on properly and had to be repositioned to keep it on the bed. The entry way side walk to the main doors of the hotel, had cigarette butts in the crevices' of the walkway, area is unkept and not taken care of, the outside trash container at the main doorway had no lid, and looked nasty. I would not go back to this location, nor recommend it to anyone. I have been to other Holiday Inn Express locations, none were like this one.
Did not take part in breakfast. Hotel location is good for our travel near family.

United StatesWe were kept awake by people upstairs. I tried to call the front desk, it rang busy twice. I finally called from my cell phone and complained about the noise. It was after 3 a.m. before it quieted down. Also there was mildew above the window on the ceiling, poor ventilation.
Breakfast was good and a variety of foods.

United Statesthe first shift employee was kind of rude.. the breakfast was hard the first day we ate it.. biscuits were like hockey pucks, egg omelets were hard.. the second day breakfast wasn’t even served until about 9:30 and it was over by 10:00.. the suite we had only had a/c and heat in one of the rooms so the other was extremely hot we had to buy a fan. the pool was warm but very nasty, hair all over and the bottom of the pool had a lot of dirt like it was poorly maintained..
the only good thing about the hotel was the night shift employee was super nice. she had to give us towels because only one was in our suite, our conditioner was empty as soon as we got in the room..
