There is nothing negative with respect to the property.

The room is very spacious and equipped with a microwave and refrigerator which is a must for us when traveling. The location of the property is great! It's within walking distance to various eateries and Porto's which is our go to when visiting Downey!

Short staffed front desk staff never answer phone. At checkin would not honor reservation confirmed with cc. I live in the neighborhood. My family was visiting from out of the country so it was very disappointing to not feel welcome. My brother in law intervened and reminded them of their policy by showing him the paper they give guests upon arrival so I realized that had we not stood our ground I would have had to find another place for that night. Did not get the rooms requested but settled for what they offered instead. The front desk needs better training, no sense of urgency. There is a brand new hotel on the across the street so next time I will take my business elsewhere.

Just a tad cleaner. There was a spill in the breakfast area that guests kept stepping over. Staff were great, you may just need more of them here.

The refrigerator was off when we arrived and we had things that needed to be kept cold so it was a little inconvenient to have to wait for the fridge to get cold.

The property is nice from the second you walk in and the amenities are great. We love the indoor pool and jacuzzi and we’re grateful for the pull out bed.

The room didn't feel the cleanest. The door knobs didn't feel like. We had some stains on the bathroom doors and hand prints on the sliding doors. I should have called and ask for maid service but I didn't we just picked up some clorox wipes.

They do not have enough luggage racks. We had quite a bit of luggage and had to make 3 trips to the car. For a hotel that size, they should be well equipped. There was ZERO ice in any of the machines.

The proximity of the hotel to shopping, restaurants and Porto’s! It’s nice to have free drink tickets and free breakfast (make sure you are up early).

There were no coffe cups for the kuerig machine and only 1 bath towel. Our first request went unheeded. 4 hours later when we requested again we were serviced right away

The breakfast hours during the week start very early, 6-9 am but on the weekends, they are 7-10. I believe they need to be consistent all week. There are several events during the weekend and it can get very loud between the music and the bar. I would suggest staying on the 3rd floor (Room 330 is the best) or any "corner unit" on any floor above the 3rd.

The beds are very comfy and I like the black-out curtains that allow for that additional sleep in time! The room is well-equipped and is like a studio apartment!

Pool was loud, requested room service and extra towels and they forgot, early check in extra $ for 1 hour I paid $25 extra.
