The common main areas were nice and kept up. The staff was very friendly! The happy hour and brew were a great addition. The condition of the room was grubby and old, definitely in dire need of a remodel. The beds were comfortable but the couch and everything felt old and dirty. Toothpaste spit on the mirror and faucet and hair on bathroom floor. Not cleaned well at all.

United StatesThis hotel needs to be renovated inside and out. I couldn't believe that Hilton would allow a property to fall into such disrepair. On the other hand, the employees are the best! Housekeeping and maintenance managed to respond to my requests, the front desk staff was always friendly, and the staff working in the reception/eating area kept the area fully stocked and well organized.

United StatesThe property was a bit rundown. Outdoor areas needed fresh paint, my nails turned green in jacuzzi, there were smudges on the walls, stains on carpet and a moisture smell in unit. The bathroom light only turns on when the wall is banged, and the shower had what looked like mold. On a positive note the bed was very comfortable.

United StatesIt is showing its age. Though clean (for the most part) it’s a bit rundown. Our room was on the 3rd floor and very quiet but the AC wouldn’t turn off and we had no heat. They sent someone who “switched” something and we had heat (but then no AC). Great breakfast, hosted cocktails and snacks in the evening and staff is always friendly. On checkout we were pleased to hear they will be starting room renovations in another month or so.

United StatesThe place is tired and needs upgrades. (Peeling paint - drab colors in rooms.) We asked for room cleanup and it never occurred in 7 days. Brought clean towels but dirty towels stacked up and were never cleared. Needed garbage emptied and they never came to do it.

United StatesThe hotel is very dated. It's in need of a facelift. The room furniture is worn and scuffed. There was only one side lamp with outlets so it was tricky to plug in all our devices. The shower needed a good scrubbing from some traces of mold.
The hotel is in close proximity to all the events and landmarks in Palm Desert.

United StatesThe WiFi at this location is terrible even with the upgrade. Made working difficult. We booked a king suite hoping for a meeting but could not host with such a poor connection. Scottsdale, San Diego and Las Vegas all have good internet. Maybe it the location in general? The entry way music level is set loud enough that it can be heard in our king suite THE ENTIRE NIGHT. We stayed in 2 different rooms and the smaller suite bathroom needed work. Water damage to door molding and loose tiles.
Location is great and the staff is incredibly cheerful. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is consistent with other embassy locations

United StatesFirst room I got > room was unlocked and hanging open + all bedding was scattered everywhere. Second room HAD NO SHOWER CURTAIN and limited TV channels. Not to mention I am a Hilton Honors and no mention was made of that. Not a deal breaker but overall not a fantastic experience.
