The rocker chairs were extremely small. Normal "wear-and-tear" of mattress and porch chairs made them uncomfortable, but doable for the temporary time-being.

The door had a code. The parking pass and arm bands were provided and awaiting us in the condo.

It was a lovely unit but the furniture wasn't the most comfortable.

The property and location were wonderful. Parking was ample and the hot tub was very nice. Fast elevators and good water pressure, too!

Well, the room could have been a bit cleaner. Under the beds and other such areas. Not many dishes available, but doable. Those were really small issues though.

We loved it. The kids walked the beach while the adults sat on the balcony. Everyone was comfortable. We cooked Christmas Dinner in the Condo. We played games and lounged around. All 8 of us had a blast!

Love the location! The condo is very nice. Balcony is my favorite. The view is wonderful. Love to go right across the street to eat at Mike’s cafe. Everyone is very friendly.

The unit could have been cleaned better. Pillows uncomfortable. The spare bedroom's bed collapsed. I needed to wash every dish from the cabinets. Could have used hot pads. Leaky faucet in the kitchen. Drippy faucet in the master bath. Had trouble with the garbage disposal. No batteries for the remote in the spare bedroom.

The location was great! The view from our balcony to see sunsets was amazing!

I really didn't like not having a deadbolt on the door for when we sleep. Also, on the website it stated check in at 4pm, this led me to believe you needed to check in at office. Of course, office closed at 3pm. It didn't say that the Master bed, you needed a step stool to get in it. Way to high. It stated on the website that you could not smoke in the rooms and balcony, which we have always known but it didn't say that you could not smoke anywhere on the property and didn't have a designated spot for smokers, all the facilities that we have used before have that. Also, we were told that he could not smoke on the beach, if true than you need to post on the beach and website. I also didn't like the chairs on the beach some people like to get a tan on their back but impossible with the chairs they had.

We always enjoy the low-key atmosphere and fewer crowds at Emerald Isle, and there are never any elevator issues! The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We recommend the Emerald Isle to anyone who wants to be close to everything without being in the bustle of it all!

The place was not at all up to par considering the amount of money we spent. Upon arrival the condo had a bad odor and was extremely warm. After walking through the unit to observe the property we found so many things that need to be repaired / replaced. The AC unit was frozen up and had to be repaired in which Panhandle Getaways handled immediately. The unit needed to have a deep cleaning as the doors where dirty with fingerprints and smudge all over them and the floors not swept good. The dishwasher had a yellow stick substance on the opening that needed to be wiped down. In the guest bedroom the full-size bed had a broken headboard that had been propped up on the wall with pillows organized against it. The bathroom shower broke and could not be used 5 days into the trip as well as both bathrooms had black mold on the ceiling air vents due to moisture. We had several noticeable crack and holes int he walls that had yet to be repaired or had been spackled and never sanded or painted to match. Panhandle Getaways did work diligently the first time to have someone come out and take care of the AC unit and get it back running. They had stated they would have someone come out and reclean the unit, but we never saw anyone during our stay, nor did anyone come and repair the shower upon reporting it. Unfortunately, we spent the next several days with 5 people sharing a bathroom to shower. The AC unit eventually went back out and we had to turn everything off let it unfreeze before using again. I can honestly say that in the past 9 years of staying at this property condo 1108 was the absolute worst unit we have stayed in. You would think when paying $4,802.09 for a condo it would be clean and everything in working condition. I do understand that Panhandle Getaways is the property manager and it's up to the owner to make the repairs, but they are still representing the properties through their business and should make sure they are 110%.

We loved the property location as we have stayed at this property every year for the past 9 years. We have never stayed in CONDO 1108 and we will NEVER stay in this unit again.

Very outdated condo with zero appeal. Balcony in very bad condition upon arrival. Not clean and terrible outdoor furniture. There were six in our party and only two chairs on the balcony. Locks broken on balcony door.

I had some initial issues znd confusion as where to go. I went to the actual property and was told I needed to go somewhere else to show my credit card and photo ID. The lady in the office at the actual property site didn't act knowledgeable about my booking at all. She couldn't even find me in her system. When we actually went to panhandle property management, they were great especially the young man that took my credit card

Ugly, cheap furniture and decorating Neglected front door and locks Missing batteries for TV remotes Livingroom TV - cable box disconnected Bugs in both kitchen and bath every morning Master bath had a dripping faucet that made it hard to sleep Sleeper sofa bed was broken and couldn’t support the couch cushions - so you were sitting at a downward angle Toaster had an electric burn the first morning we were there and then quit completely The weather was cold and there were ZERO blankets in the unit We didn’t feel safe because the lock on the front door was weak and there was no deadbolt I have never paid more for a “vacation getaway” that was so sub-standard The right business decision for you would be to refund me at least 30% of my rental.

ROACHES!! ROACHES!!! ROACHES!! WALKED IN ON DAY 1 ROACHES WERE RUNNING FROM EVERYWHERE COULDNT COOK BECAUSE ROACHES WOULD TRY TO CLIMB IN YOUR FOOD FURNITURE WAS BROKEN AND NASTY EVERYTIME YOU OPENED THE FRIGE ROACHES WERE THERE SAME WITH THE DISHWASHER.ALSO WAS WOKE SEVERAL TIMES WITH ROACHES CRAWLING ON ME CALLED THE PERSON I RENTED FROM TOLD THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEMS ALL I GOT WAS FOR ME TO CALL MAINTANCE ABOUT THE BUG PROBLEM (NOT MY JOB) WENT AND BOUGHT 150.00 IN ROACH SPRAY AND BOMBS WAS NEVER OFFERED A REFUND OR NEW ROOM WHO KNOWS MAYBE ALL THE ROOMS HAS THIS PROBLEM!!! POOL CLOSED TO EARLY COULDNT USE THE SPA OR WORK OUT ROOM SINCE IT CLOSED AT 4PM THE OWNERS OF THE CONDOS WERE ALWAYS RUDE AND HATEFUL YOU HAD TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET SINCE OWNERS TOOK OVER THE GARAGE AND DIDNT ALLOW YOU TO PARK THERE I CAN GO ON AND ON NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAST ROOM AVAILABLE. ONCE WE RETURNED HOME NOTHING WE TOOK CAME INSIDE UNTIL WE HAD IT SPRAYED FOR BUGS WHICH WAS ANOTHER $75.00 PEEPS DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE
