The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and sheets. There was a private bath off the bedroom that was convenient. The breakfast was delicious. The hospitality was very good which made you feel comfortable staying there. A walking distance for entertainment, restaurants, and shops on the Main Street made the location excellent. Many tourist sites are also close by. Newport is beautiful during Christmas time. It was an enjoyable stay.

The location is perfect. You are in the middle of everything with the longest walk being ten minutes in each direction. From the room we stayed in, we could see the RC Church that President Kennedy was married in.

Room was crowded with stuff and didn't have space to sit or lay clothes. A little confusing with BNB two houses down having the same name. I wish I could have had a bit more food.

Overall, a great experience. The host couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful. Food was good. Best location in town, I would stay there again just for the location.

Denise went out of her way for us. We had to be someplace at 9 a.m. and would have missed breakfast. Denise started breakfast a few minutes early for us. The B and B was walking distance from everything.

The rooms are a bit dated, but still remain charming.

Proximity to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants was great. Parking available on the premises. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. Denise, the innkeeper, was attentive without being obtrusive.

I liked everything

The location couldn't have been any better. A half block to the Wharf. Denise welcomed us upon our arrival. We had 4 rooms to chose from. They were all decorated very nicely. She prepared breakfast every morning herself which was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

Just dated, but I think that that is the style in the area. Breakfast was included, and we could tell that they were tables set up for breakfast in another room, but it wasn’t clear the process to follow to get breakfast.

Each room was a small gem, ours included. I wish our airconditioner had been stronger but it fit the victorian side window nicely.

Breakfasts were wonderful! The rooms, common areas and the grounds were exceptionally beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and made great recommendations for dining out and sightseeing.

Breakfast is great. I preferred over the restaurants which we were patronage during the trip. The garden is exceptional with a pond of goldfishes, plentiful of flowers and plants. I select this place because of central location to all activities such as ferries, restaurants, markets, free shuttles. The hostess exceeded my expectation in tipping us where to go as to restaurants, the use of the free shuttles, the beach, the Cliff walk, and general info. I enjoyed chatting with the follow guests.

Denise is a great hostess! It is the perfect true bed and breakfast experience in an amazing historic home that transports you back in time . The location is walkable to everything in Newport. We were there for navy officer graduation and it was easy access to the base. Denise cooks an amazing breakfast for you every morning and is always available while you still feel you have privacy in your room. We would definitely stay again. A wonderful way to stay in Newport which is an amazing summer town.

We had a great experience here! We wanted to extend our Newport trip (we had already been there for a week) so we decided on Fair Street. They were super close to all the hustle and bustle downtown, offered parking, and had a delicious breakfast. I am personally more used to hotels but this definitely sufficed for a night. Denise was so sweet and made our stay great.

We were the only guests so we had the home to ourselves. The breakfast was delicious! The owners thought of everything during our stay, so we didn’t have to ask for anything. The house and garden were lovely, and the location was excellent - easily walkable to the downtown area. Would highly recommend.

An excellent location right off the Main Street close to shops & restaurants. Free on site parking. I highly recommend this beautiful bed & breakfast.
