Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThis was a last-minute booking after our other accommodation was canceled on us. The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Pensacola Beach saved the day! The staff here was amazingly friendly and helpful. The location was great... within walking distance of so much. The view was beautiful, and the beachfront was clean... a quick walk from the hotel pool area. Best pool of anywhere we've ever stayed. Even this sixty-something couple that usually doesn't frequent hotel pools had a good time relaxing there and floating the "lazy river." We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts. The food was so good, and the kitchen staff kept it well stocked and tidy. Great job by them every day we were there. We felt so lucky that we ended up here after our other plans fell through. Loved the facilities and the staff!

United StatesVery nice clean hotel. The staff were all friendly. Breakfast was good. The 2 hotels next door are sister hotels so you are able to use their pools as well.

United StatesNot a dislike, I think I just had higher expectations for the "very good hot breakfast" as advertised. It was decent but I've had better. When spending nearly $400 a night I expect it to be excellent. Not a good enough reason to not go back though.
Amazing pool with lazy river. Pristine clean rooms. Beautiful ocean view. Awesome shower / water pressure even on the 7th floor.

United StatesNothing, everything was excellent
Balcony was beautiful! The lazy river was a hit for my kids. They wouldn’t get out it. We went for Memorial Weekend and everyday they had a different activity. They also had breakfast that was also good.

United StatesBreakfast was ok, the only drawback was the limited selection of breakfast items. However, it was decent enough. The layout of the breakfast line proved to be a little confusing, with various stations scattered throughout a cramped space. This made it difficult for us to navigate and locate the items we sought. Plenty of space to dine either inside, outside or take to your room. Televisions and lounge chairs were also a nice addition to the space.
We were greeted by a warm and friendly hotel staff which created an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. The room was spacious, meticulously maintained, with modern furnishings and cozy bedding. The amenities such as the balcony view of the gulf, (which we booked), pool with a lazy river and on-sight bar and restaurant (Fish Heads) were equally impressive. The beach gave us a relaxation and rejuvenation we so desperately needed. The location also placed us mere steps away from restaurants, grocery and other retail shops. We will definitely return!

United StatesThe breakfast was just ok, not a large variety and not changed out much on a daily basis.
Location is perfect, short walk to the beach or the pool. Having a restaurant on the grounds was ideal.

United StatesHave staff monitor the pools. The one pool is suppose to be adults only per their website and their are always a bunch of kids in there and in the adult only hot tub. I rarely use the restaurant, Fish Heads, when I am there because they are super slow
Love the beachfront views and the balcony. Hotel is new so it is very clean. Staff is always very friendly and able to help with any issues. Left my glasses on the floor of the room and housekeeping found them and held them for me.

United StatesIt was spring break when I visited so it was a bit crowded but that's to be expected.
This is a very nice hotel. Very clean and has very good staff. I only stayed one night but it was a really nice time. The pools were nice and our view from our room was amazing! Definitely recommend getting an oceanfront view! It was close to the shops and restaurants that you can just walk to. Staying here was a good experience and I'll definitely keep this hotel in mind for the next time I visit Pensacola Beach!

United StatesThe bar was not open on time after trying to get drinks twice. The room didn’t get cool enough. I had set on 65 but felt like a muggy 65. Since I was too warm I didn’t sleep well. $10 a day parking fee.
Very nice clean hotel. Staff was exceptionally nice. Right on the beach. Loved that the balcony actually had furniture. Nice pool.

United StatesJust for your information, you need transportation if you want to explore the area, including Pensacola. We used a ride share to get places, which can get a bit pricey. Parking at the hotel isn't free, and the distance from the airport is 30-40 minutes depending on time of day and traffic. If you want a nice view of the beach, ask for a room on the right side of the hotel as it faces the gulf so you don't have much of your view obscured by the restaurant's roof.
This is a beautiful beach--calm, clear water, clean sand, and very quiet during the off season. Decent restaurants and the usual beach shopping available within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel. We also enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, and lazy river. I'd definitely return to this hotel.

United StatesWas bummed that I didn't catch that parking wasn't free, and that there wasn't any wifi, so a chunk was taken out of my data. Could have done without the fumes from The Fish Head bar/restaurant on the ground level, but that just goes with the territory.
In the top 3 of the cleanest hotels we've ever been to. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Hallways weren't stuffy and dank. Especially surprising was the enclosed parking and entry below lobby. Very clean and well lit, entry and elevators not wet smelling like stale beach towels with sand strewn everywhere. Smelled clean and fresh. Amazing views from lobby windows. It was also great that you could take the elevator from your vehicle straight to your floor without having to schlep all your stuff through the lobby in front of all and sundry. Excellent staff that we encountered. Breakfast was good and hot, and a little different from what you'd have at a Hampton.
