Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe internet would not work, there were very limited channels on the tv, we found a dead bug in our bed, we asked for extra linens twice before we got them, the water stopped working in the room in the a.m while we were getting dressed for a funeral, and there were stains all over the carpeting on the 3rd floor. It was a huge disappointment.

Puerto RicoAs soon as I made the check in and get my room , the bathroom was dirty, also found a cockrouch over the bed, very bad experience, immediately proceed to front desk notify, a no alternatives were presented neither an apology, I proceed to make the check out and for my surprise the billed one night...never ever will use that facility.

United StatesStayed 4 nights and never received a room cleaning even though I requested it several times. Needed clean towels and asked a maid for them. She said she didn't have any. She sent me to different floors to find towels instead of going to get them. When I came back by the room she was cleaning, the room was a mess and she was sitting on the bed playing with her phone. Overall, the service was the worst I've ever experienced, especially for a Marriott.

United StatesNo delish breakfast buffet like our first visit 2 years ago but all due to Covid. However it was accommodating enough for us. There is bagged to go juices milks yogurts sausage biscuits, microwave waffles, omelettes and muffins as well as coffee and tea. We were still satisfied with it The only other thing is the beds are a little to hard for my liking but still slept comfortably. All in all nothing bad to say at all. Again we will be back😊
Everything was great. Drove 400 miles from NC and was a little late arriving but we called to let the front desk know. When we arrived we were able to check in quickly with no problems. Staff was friendly, very kind courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The room was clean as well as the rest of the facility. No breakfast buffet like before but bagged breakfast was enough to hold us over till we went out to eat. Pool was very refreshing as well. Was our second time staying there and will definately be staying again. .
