The bathroom lighting is terrible. My husband couldn’t see to shave, and I couldn’t even put on make-up until I got in the car! And the toilet was very low. Our bed was not terrible, but certainly not comfortable.

Staff were so accommodating and we appreciated that. Breakfast was delicious too.

I just really wish they had a hot tub! Lol

It's a pretty nice little hotel. Pool is decent sized, would like to see a hot tub included but it's still nice. The staff takes the cake though. I've stayed here twice and the staff is always super friendly and helpful! Would recommend staying here if you're ever in Burlington Iowa!!

Breakfast, especially after travelling extensively in Europe, left a lot to be desired. Compared to other hotels here in America in the same price range, it was fine.

Location was good for us, on a major street and close to the freeway.

The tables..nights stands..and desk areas weren't wiped so we had to clean them ourselves. The telephone receiver and the main door were also not clean/sanitized. With the pandemic all of these things should have been sanitized. I also wasn't happy about the price especially since we had to clean ourselves. I also asked for a late check out and I never was told if that was going to be possible.

I absolutely loved the shower and bed. Slept great. The breakfast was also really good. I'm a chef so I can really say I had no complaints about the food.

The housekeeping staff was not cleaning rooms daily due to "Covid protocols". Yet there is someone making breakfast daily. - Makes no sense. Covid risk is the same. Could not get hot water for tea several mornings- waited until about 8:30 and left. Staff smoking right outside the entry doors so had to walk thru a wall of smoke each time. Room 105 has paint peeling off the window seal.

Ashley and the staff were very good. Accommodated all requests.

Breakfast was disappointing. Coffee wasn't ready when we went down to eat. Had to wait for about 10 minutes for it. So we just left and moved on. really small sink area.

Location was good, rooms were very quiet. Good shower room, good towels.

The room seemed clean and nice but when the moment you interact with whatever in the room, you realize it's not. The desk was I don't know why but very sticky. I couldn't define what it was I decided not to use my laptop there. And the chair, chair had some crumbs all over, whatever they were from. I kept telling myself whether I should check the bedsheet or not since that easy job, cleaning the chair wasn't made - what else would the person do? I did not contact nor ask switching the room because the staff were too nice, I just didn't want to bother them.

Staff, they were amazing. Every single one of them was very helpful and nice. I had an issue with my reservation and I was worried but by their help, it got resolved so well. Asking me if I want a bottle of water when checking out which was extremely nice of him, and yes I would love to stay again if I go to the area again, but. Yes, there's but.

I "checked in" online but I had to check in again once we arrived. Once we arrived we had to wait for over an hour for our room to be cleaned as it was unoccupied just before we got there, once we got there we noticed that there was no toilet paper so I asked the woman that was cleaning the room for some paper, she was able to only give me one roll. She told me that she would give me another one later but we never did get another roll. Also the room was never cleaned during our stay.

I never was told about the breakfast, maybe it was mentioned to me while i was online but it wasn't mentioned to us as we checked in which would have been nice.

I can't really think of anything lacking in our stay at the Burlington Fairfield Inn!

The room was very good, the location excellent, the staff was very courteous and helpful and the breakfast was everything we needed.

I know it was posted they only clean room every 3 days; but had to go in search of coffee packets everyday & ask for garbage to be emptied. The locks were being changed out and our room was very dusty, had to ask them to dust it. They did , but even that day, while in room did not empty wastebaskets or replace coffee packets. I know employees are allowed breaks, but several employees were outside front entrance smoking everytime we came & went. Halls smelled musty.

Staff were very friendly; worked well together; housekeeper, maintenance man, all helped with breakfast bar when busy.
