How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We had no complaints.
Ease of making the reservation, checking in, checking out. The room was spotless. The bed linens and towels were very soft and smelled very clean and fresh. The entire room just looked and felt so clean. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted in the shower were very convenient and also smelled great. The room had a great air conditioner that kept us very comfortable. We are hot sleepers and like the room to be cold. It was perfect. The bed was very comfortable with crisp, white linen.

very nice, comfortable beds, and they catered to our softball girls since we were in town for a tournament. They put out Gatorade’s, waters, fruit, and sat out games for them all complimentary!! it was so nice, never had a place do that for us before.

Cost.

I don’t have any questions or concerns regarding the property. My stay was pleasant and I enjoyed visiting the property.
Property is a Great place. I always enjoy my stay and all the staff are Super Friendly and Helpful.

I found everything wonderful, so nothing could have been improved.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast options were amazing, and was the perfect start to my day.

breakfast was out away a little fast. wished it would have been served until 10am, just missed it at 9:15. other than that everyone was very friendly and hotel very clean and nice.

All was good.
Front desk workers very cordial. Hotel and room very pleasant to stay in.Would stay at this hotel again. The staff made our anniversary very special.

The staff was amazing!! My mom had oral surgery which required us to stay 2 nights. Each time I ran into a housekeeper, manager etc...they would ask how my mom was doing.

Everything was good but believe if rooms can't be serviced because of covid each day a discount should be offered. We halong days during our stay and last thing I want to do is pull trash or have to go to front desk for towels

Breakfast items were cold. I know they are free but they are artificial food like. I had option to have room serviced every day and took it. Someone emptied waste basket and threw the bed covers back over the bed but didn’t actually make it and that was considered service I guess.
The checkin people were great. The night person was not well trained. The final night the was a cigarette smell coming from lower floor. Bight person didn’t know f this was a non smoking hotel or not.

The bed appeared to be well used/worn out and not comfortable at all. Trying to sleep was miserable.
Overall hotel and amenities were good and all was clean.

There were times that the lobby absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. The curtains in our room would not close at all and it was difficult to sleep with the extremely bright lights of the car dealership next door shining through the window all night. They had signs everywhere saying that masks were required but none of the other guests wore them. If you’re not going to enforce it, take the signs down. We were told that breakfast ended at 10am on Saturday. We went down at 9:45 and it was already all packed up on a cart and the woman looked at us and wheeled it away without even asking if we wanted a muffin or something. The conditioner dispenser in the bathroom didn’t work. The Netflix on the TV just kept freezing up. Not worth the price at all.
The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet.
