Did not like that the bathroom door in the room did not close all the way and open all the way too. Not enough privacy. Also thought it was odd that there was no washrooms on main lobby area.

It was clean, the beds were comfortable , and pretty location.

I wished I had booked two nights or even three nights prior to my cruise as opposed to just one. That’s the only thing I didn’t like, I didn’t have enough time there.

They had free wine and beer at the bar every day from 4 to 5 lol. But really other than that the bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioner was nice and cool. The people at the front desk and the concierge were all very helpful. The location was great. No complaints.

First of all, they need to improve the accessibility of the lift. Between 9 and 10 a.m. on Sunday, I could not get on a lift to the lobby. I had to wait until 11 am for a lift to reach my floor. Although I could have taken the stairs, I paid a lot of money for this room and I feel waiting for a lift for 30 minutes or more is unacceptable. Also, when I checked out of the hotel, the customer service agent insisted I give the hotel a 9 or 10 score on booking.com. I found this very unprofessional. Ultimately, I am the guest and should be entitled to an independent opinion about the hotel. This is unacceptable behaviour, asking the guest to give a specific review score.

The bed and room was clean and comfortable.

Nothing really. I saw people complain about the lifts. They sometimes take a while but not really an issue. The gym is in the basement and not amazing but fine.

Great location, hotel was perfectly comfortable, happy hour was a bonus (free drinks between 4-5pm).

The breakfast was a bit lacking in quality, albeit with a nice seating area. The elevators are to small to accomodate the size of the hotel. Every morning the elevators were packed and close to the maximum weight limit.

The hotel is very inviting, open lobby area, friendly staff. My room was onn the 27th floor and was clean and spacious for what I booked. The location was close to Times Square and penn station so it was very accessible for me.

Elevators were ridiculously slow the whole trip. We waited 20 minutes and finally had to walk down 17 flights of stairs since we needed to catch a train home. Wasn't a great ending to our trip. There must be a way to regulate them.

Room was clean. Location of hotel worked well for us. Staff was very pleasant. I had requested cleaning every day-they did not come the first day until I said something but after that everything was fine. The complimentary happy hour is a nice touch.

The view from the room at back of hotel on 15th Floor was rubbish. Opposite building had scaffolding and building materials on show. A lot of low key noise in room luckily not from lift next door to us, probably plumbing and air conditioning which we don’t have coming from the UK and takes some getting used to.

Close to Madison Square Garden. Hotel reception was quirky, relaxed and welcoming. The lifts were fast and efficient. Our room was compact but comfortable. Stayed 5 nights and appreciated the maid service for 4 of those nights. Breakfast was on sight and offered choices. Artwork in breakfast room was memorable in the outside area. Had the fire alarm go off during our stay, and a very reassuring voice came over the intercom directly to our room giving instructions. Everything was OK but it was nice to know. Baggage storage was welcome on checking out. The New York skyscrapers window blinds made up for the rubbish view. Felt secure by hotel measures using key card to access lifts and limit late and overnight access. Would stay again.

It’s important to understand the location. It can be too central :) very busy area close to Times Square MSQ means that it never sleep. Although it was not noise in the hotel room.

Location is amazing especially for the first NY visit. Stuff was friendly and professional.

No kettle in the room, only coffee machine and microwave which isn’t helpful when you want boiling water for tea! Also no tea/milk/cups for drinks in room and no complimentary still water. Rooms weren’t cleaned regularly and so no fresh towels. Also breakfast was a pain as seating area isn’t the biggest of areas, alongside a lot of large groups for school trips, this made breakfast quite unbearable/noisy/cramped, no matter what time you went!

Staff amazing, great location, comfy bed!

No vegetables for breakfast. I understand it's an american standard but I wish we could eat some veggies and make a sandwich with vegies, cheese and bread. No tomato, cucumber, paprika, nothing. Crowded breakfast time. However you would find a spot to seat quite quickly.

Fantastic location. Great staff at the reception. The room was OK, clean with many facilities. We got a room with view on Edge building. For breakfast and morning coffee you could get alternative 'milk' like oat milk. You could get some gluten free muffins, buns. There was an oatmeal, scrambled eggs etc.

Long wait for elevators during peak hours i.e. breakfast time, (I took the stairs on first day from floor 22 to lobby) and breakfast area was also packed especially on weekends. Luckily i was able to find an open table on all days.

Breakfast was very good with different hot items each day. Muffins were delicious! For the carb conscious, they had oatmeal with a nice variety of toppings, yogurt and eggs, meats, turkey/chicken patty, cold cuts. Beds were very comfortable and no noise issues. Location excellent, metro stop 34 Penn st was the closest, with 2 other stops close by! Easier to get to JFK(local train plus air train) vs LGA(local train plus bus- bus stop in a very congested area of Queens! We were out until 3 am Sat night and felt safe waking from hotel to Taco Bell on main Street.
