I arrived and the room I was initially assigned was dirty. The bed was undone and towels were on the floor in the bathroom. However, the receptionist immediately reassigned me to another room.

I did not eat breakfast but I liked the location and the room size.

Breakfast is cancelled due to covid. It starts to feel that COVID is the death of service and properties are starting to stretch this COVID label as an excuse to eroded service. Options for breakfast were frozen and surprisingly good but staff was dry to even comment and help guests appreciate the sanitary measures. This was not the experience in other hotels: some seem to be making the no-service last linger than others. Do ask. On check in late at night (22h) the front desk staff member was so tired that he didnt articulate more than two words. Our room for 3 adults and a baby had no sheets for the sifa bed and no more than two sets of towels. Clearly the frint desk never respinded the phone and i had to go downstairs again to get what eas missing. I got a load (almost more than i could carry alone) of six pillowcases (no additional pillows were provided) one top sheet for the sofa bed, no fitted sheet and two light bed covers. Odd. Not a sorry and not a thank you for coming down once again. I start to feel COVID has been lethal to service as property owners struggle to survive the crisis by reducing staff and having overworked personnel. This starts to affect branding. All in all cinsidered and coming from a 12h drive and a failed booking with all other properties in an 85 mile drive… i loved this property and its facilities, and i eill turn a blind eye on service for a little bit longer as this is the commin denominator of all our latest hotel stays.

The property is modern, simple but tasteful in decor and very good showers with brand new fixtures. Beds were great and pillows were the only ones i could ever use without resorting to mine that i travel with.

They don’t check under the beds because there was trash under the bed that wasn’t ours. Like a sprite bottle and some kind of nicotine bottle.

There was no one working to give out bath towels and our entire ball team was staying so the towels we used on Friday needed to be changed on Saturday but I guess since our wonderful state keeps giving free money no one wants to work so the hotel was short staffed. The breakfast and coffee was VERY limited

the breakfast offering was a huge disappointment. It was advertised as a wonderful hot breakfast. It was in reality breakfast snacks. Microwave stuff. Ugh! Since restaurants were operating, it seemed like false advertising as the breakfast description was the reason I choose this hotel. Also the coffee was really weak and unsavory.

The bed, pillows, mattress were very very comfortable. The walkin shower was unexpected and extraordinary. Best shower ever!

The refrigerator was opened with a frozen ice bank that froze over and fell out the refrigerator door onto the floor.

We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast but usually it’s pretty good. The location was around an area that has quite a few restaurants and shopping centers.

There’s nothing I dislike

It was very clean. You can smell cleanliness when u first walk in. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Greeting us at the door and throughout the stay. We most definitely will stay again every time we go to Monroe.
