Peter is just one exceptional host! We felt like family immediately. Peter feed us, mentored the young people, told us stories. He was extremely welcoming. I felt like I wanted to come back before even leaving. Definitely will stay again.

On a busy street. Car had to be parked a few blocks away.

Easy to get to. Neighborhood is really not walkable but we were able to find a great little restaurant and got a ride back.

Front door locks were being changed so was a little difficult locking and unlocking but owner was always there to help and once fixed will be fine.

Owner/host was super nice and accommodating. The room was great and I really have nothing bad to say. Owner also has a dog who is super sweet and well trained. Definitely will be back!

Would have liked a recliner or cushion chair in the room.

We were greeted very warmly by our host, Peter, and we were even offered some Italian delicacies to sample. Peter shared some nice family stories also.

Sidewalks in the area are not level. Since you have to park on the street one street over, you should be careful when going to/from your car. It was raining one day and the amount of water running along the sidewalks causes you to hop through puddles.

Beautiful house with a convenient location in Mount Vernon. Welcoming and accommodating host that made the whole process easy. Room was clean and spacious with a lot of lighting. Bathroom had a motion sensing light switch and a nice shower.

Parking - but really not a problem - just a short walk away!

This beatiful home far exceeded our expectations. We absolutely plan to stay again in the near future. The host was charming and extremely helpful. We immediately felt at home, safe and relaxed. We were in town for a family funeral so we did not have time to fully enjoy the homes amenities and the surrounding area. We will be back! Thank you so much! PS the coffee was superb!

The house looks very lived-in because it is, as part of the family lives there, so there are some personal items on the porch that probably should be reorganized for more curb appeal, but this is a minor issue.

Our host provided us outstanding hospitality showing us dishes made by him and his family, from their garden. The kitchen is very large and has excellent appliances, a great variety of cookware and serving ware. There is seating room for 18 people - you could have a dinner party here! We really were able to make ourselves at home in the kitchen and in the bedroom. The bath in our 1 queen room was large, had a very nice shower with Jacuzzi, and the tile was very pretty. The house was built in 1918 and has been fully renovated with modern amenities but it keeps the charm and style of the original building.

Woke up the first night at 4:00 AM because someone was walking around loudly near our room. An old used washcloth was left on the bar of the shower.

Location was about 20 min from the sporting event we were attending, so it was very convenient. Peter went above and beyond with his hospitality.

Peter was very welcoming. I felt comfortable and at ease. He provided all amenities, answered any questions, and granted access to the use of items/food/pots etc. I’m glad I stayed here! I would definitely be back.

Peter was very accommodating and hospitable. He was very generous in sharing his space and food with his guests. His goal was to make his guests feel at home, and I felt very welcomed. He had 2 sets of washer and dryer for us to use if we needed them. I loved that he shaved prosciutto for us and gave us bread and eggs to eat with it. I was able to meet some of the other guests and got along with them well. I did not get a car rental for this trip and was able to walk from the Mount Vernon (East) train station to this booking in 19 minutes. I felt like I got the Italian/NY experience staying here. I would high recommend this booking for those looking for something wholesome.

Peter was an amazing host, making me feel at home. The place is super clean, with fine decor. The jacuzzi bath tub was a must every night after a long day in the city! I will definitely return to Farfalla Bianca!!

The host was warm, hospitable, attentive and customer satisfaction focused . my room was immaculate and the home was clean and beautiful . you had the ability to manage the room temperature and this was awesome . This is a GEM in the city of mount Vernon and I would recommend it anytime . would re-book in a heart beat!!!!!!!

Peter, great host he welcomed us into his home and pretty much showed us his house and where everything was he was very accommodating, very polite. They even cooked home meals in their beautiful kitchen the night of our stay unfortunately, we had already ate. The only downfall is you have to walk around the block to park your car besides that everything was great.
