Overall, the value isn't here. I paid over $200 a night and it wasn't worth it.

Overall, the place seems like it was very quickly and cheaply put together. The furniture isn't comfortable at all. I'm a combat vet with injuries (not going to call myself a disabled vet because others have it much worse); However, my knees aren't the best and getting off the couch was very difficult. I feel like the couch was designed for children. It's very low to the ground and overall not comfortable. This was also the only area I noticed not being clean. The cracks of the couch, where the cushions meet, had a lot of build up of dirt and gunk. There were also two other chairs and they felt kind of flimsy and not comfortable. There was also no thermostat, at least I think. There was a very old contraption on the wall that maybe could have been a thermostat but I wasn't touching it just in case. Being able to be comfortable temperature-wise is important to me and if I'd noticed that before hand I wouldn't have booked the place. Another big issue for me was the internet. The most I was ever able to eek out of an internet-speed test was 5 MB per second. Normally, when I'm away on business travel I play Minecraft with my small child. I couldn't do that. It was also a very long and tedious updated to install an update on my laptop. The overall layout is slightly confusing. The main house is attached and there are 4 doors that I believe take you into the main house. They had security latches so I just locked them all but it did leave me wondering if they went into the house or were closets at first. There was also a welcoming sheet that gave some basic info. It advised there was water in the fridge and also cream and sugar for coffee. I was going to go get this stuff on my first night there so I would have it in the morning but then didn't. From what I could find, none of this was stocked. Lastly, for the "bigger" items, the bed!

The location was great for where I was going. My conference was just over a mile away. I very much enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of not dealing with a hotel. I would liken it to traveling via train vs airplane for those that have traveled via train. Much lower and easier barrier to entry. They left the door unlocked and I just walked in and the keys were on a table. The place was mostly clean minus one area that I'll elaborate more on in a bit. The place had a full kitchen minus a dish washer which is completely fine for me. I didn't dirty any dishes. I also enjoyed that it was quiet. The apartment is attached to the main house and they aren't loud people. This was appreciated.

The property was the perfect size, price range, and location for our group of four friends going to the Bristol Renaissance Fair for the weekend. Two of us took the bedroom and 2 stayed in the living room on the 1 on the couch and 1 on the air mattress. The place was clean and well stocked with all sorts of things we might have needed. While we did not bring a pet it was clear the place is pet friendly there are plenty of dog toys and dog treats as well as cleaning supplies to clean up after a pet and a food and water bowl. The tv is great for gaming. Know that the apartment is attached to the main house so there are several doors that are bolted shut that you can see but that cannot be opened. The owner was very responsive to my two calls about where to park. When cooking be sure to turn on the vent (it’s on the microwave) beforehand and perhaps open a window. It is a smaller space and we found out the hard way how easily the fire alarm goes off. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I would absolutely book again!
