Cabin 109 near the river was an excellent cabin. My daughters were in 101 and not as nice of a location.

The only thing that could have been better is if it cost a bit less to stay here (pet fee aside). But it was still a much more reasonably priced option compared to the Resort and afforded a very comfortable, quiet and easy stay so I don’t really have any complaints.

Everything about this place was, in a word, pleasant. The decor was simple but tasteful. The rooms were comfortable from top to bottom, the whole cabin felt very cozy and private despite being conveniently located right off the highway and a few minutes from the springs and the downtown area. I would certainly enjoy staying here again.

Nothing I can think of; it was exactly what my friend and I needed to get away from work for a girl's chill couple of days.

The cabin was immaculate, roomy and comfortable. The grounds are attractive and perfect for taking my Australian Shepherd. The cabins are close to downtown, maybe a mile to 2 miles. And even though right by the highway our cabin was quiet. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen has all the equipment you need. (although there was no tea available as listed on the instruction sheet, it was a mote point) Check-in was quick and easy, and both Gail at check-in and the young lady (sorry didn't get a name) at check-out were delightful. For the past 20+ years, we stayed at the Springs Resort, now that they have more than doubled their prices I won't be going back. Since there is a hot tub available at Fireside Cabins, I see no need to stay anywhere else. We will be back, and I am telling everyone what a great place Fireside Cabins is!!!

Nothing we did not like. Perhaps just a suggestion to have a couple fluffy blankets to wrap yourself in for the cooler parts of the day while sitting on the beautiful porch and watching the river.

Location was fabulous! Streamside cabin, privacy trees for most of the porch, super clean cabin, stocked well, respectful and helpful staff, lots of shelves to put things as well as strategically placed pine logs inside to hang even more things, very comfortable bedding, and coffee with cream and sugar! We will definitely return. This is the most quiet and serene place we have ever been in our 60 plus years. And close to downtown for all needs.

The bed was way too cushy and the pillows were way too hard. Also the lady at the front seemed grumpy, not rude just grumpy..

The value was amazing. I wish it were in my schedule to have been able to stay longer. I would definitely return again to enjoy the opportunities of summer fun with the river. The beauty of winter was enhanced by the perfect hot tub !!

Some road noise being right off the highway, but not annoying.

We've stayed here several times, it's our go-to when booking a place in Pagosa. Cozy little cabins, nice property grounds with various activities available in the warmer months. We always book in winter and really enjoy the hot tub.

A very cute place. Our little 2-bedroom cabin was perfect as we were traveling with our dog. The kitchenette had adequate cooking facilities and dishes. Location was great - just outside of town

Small rustic cabins with a kitchenette that was stocked with nice dishes and cleaning products. Gas fireplace stove in the living area was amazing! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soft towels. The cabin was great for 2 people and was very cozy and comfortable. The property itself was beautiful with the river running behind it. The trees in front of the cabins added to the cozy cabin feel especially after it snowed! Great location and easy access to the highway.

The cabin I stayed in needed some improvements, but still a good experience. My chief complaint, which would actually keep me from staying there again, was all of the overly scented products. When you first walk in, the cleaning products are a bit overwhelming, but I left the door cracked for a while and that helped. Unfortunately, when I crawled into my super comfy bed, I could not sleep because the overly perfumed laundry detergent used was brutal and gave me a headache. I mentioned that at check out and really hope they change their detergent because they really do have a great place.

Gorgeous location, except for the sound of traffic from the highway. Perhaps the cabins next to the river are quieter. The grounds are beautiful with lots of cool touches like sculptures, tables, fire pit and even a horse corral. I enjoyed it in the winter, I bet summer is spectacular!
