Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesSome staff were rude. One valet was upset my husband needed a luggage cart & asked if he parked in valet. We hadn't. My husband is disabled & has breathing issues & couldn't carry his 40 lb breathing macine & our luggage. Asked valet if it was ok & valet just rudely muttered under his breath & walked away. That exoeruence overrode the pisitives! Especially when we were there to be with my brother having triple bypass surgery. They need to be more respectful & understanding of peoples NEEDS!

I made a very last minute booking because the hotel I was staying in was a complete let down in terms of cleanliness. Fort Hotel came to the rescue and despite just staying one night, it was heavenly. Incredibly interior, with comfort to match. And so clean!

Great location with access to skywalk. Able to walk between most everything downtown without being outdoors in the elements.
