Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bed frames were made of heavy heavy dark wood, and the corners were very sharp. I hit my shin on them every time I walked around the bed. I left with large bruises on both legs. I informed the front desk, and her response was, "Yeah, everyone complains about the bed frames." Really? Why keep those bed frames?
The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean as was b the bathroom. Cable and wifi worked well. The food and bar were excellent. I had a wonderful chef salad and my husband's hamburger was delicious with bacon, cheese, onion rings, and all the works.

United StatesThe owner or person checking me in was very kind and sympathetic. I was exhausted as I had been at the Emergency Room with my husband for nearly 9 hours. Even though the food service area has closed he offered to have them make something for me. When I said that wasn’t necessary and I picked out some food and a drink from the market/pantry he gave them to me at no charge.

United StatesThe parking situation was ridiculous. I had to park a half mile down the road and walk to the hotel because there was not enough parking space for hotel occupants and some sort of boxing event that was occurring at an adjacent building to the hotel.

United StatesI tried to reserve a shuttle to the airport before I arrived but they would not let me and told me that I will have no problem reserving a spot on the shuttle once I arrived at the hotel. However that was not the case and once I checked in, the shuttle was booked for my preferred time. So I had to wake up earlier in order to catch the earlier shuttle... not happy about this.
I didn't have breakfast because I forgot it was included. It might be nice for the front desk staff to give clients a reminder about this.
