After I showered and walked aorund the room for a bit my feet we almost black. The carpets desperately need to be cleaned. I had to wash my feet off with a washcloth before I got into bed. That was pretty gross.

It was not as close to the Harbor Village as the web made it seem, and the walking path was not as obvious as it should have been to know where to go. The jacuzzi is nice and I am glad it is open late, but it said nobody under 18 and people still had a kid in there. If there is nobody to enforce it, then the rule doesn't matter. The towels in the pool/jacuzzi area are ridiculously small. I did not like being assessed extra taxes and stuff from the total I was given upon booking. There should be transparency about all of the extra tourism fees.

I liked that there was an enclosed jacuzzi since the weather was not particularly warm. The breakfast in the dining room was nice and the staff was friendly.

Location is great for a get away from Los Angeles. Room was great size for 4, clean and comfortable. Breakfast with room was a great deal!!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming - we arrived late in the evening, and there was a loud, whining, machinery noise in the rrom from the jacuzzi pumps outside. We were offered another room but it wasn't necessary as the jacuzzi was being shut off for the evening and the room was perfectly okay otherwise. The hotel is a little dated, but clean, and the service is excellenty

I would've liked a better "work" station/table in my room, but maybe this is normal for a 2 queen room, I usually get a king. I lovedd the balcony, but once I sat down, no view.....

the grounds was really nice. Nice to walk around. Location was decent, could walk aroung the harbor. Nice to have a balcony and slider door. Staff were friendly and very nice. Everything was very clean.

The restaurant served breakfast in the restaurant area, but served dinner in the lobby. There was a spiderweb that covered nearly the entire hallway on the 3rd floor that took them 3 days to clear. The elevators made you worry that they’d malfunction and leave you trapped. Worst of all, they charge $12 per night for parking despite the nearly $200 per night cost of the room. This would have been ok pre-COVID, but post COVID, they don’t so housekeeping tasks like changing trash or replacing towels and they have no plans to bring back room service. At their room prices, parking should already be included.

The location near Ventura Harbor was great. We had a great view from the 3rd floor balcony.

The air conditioning in the lobby was not adequate

Theocratic was good The grounds were lovely. We were there during an extreme heatwave. We spent hours in the pool before our room was ready. Management was very accommodating. When we were able to go to our room the air conditioning was on full blast and the room was cold. We were in heaven! It was 104 degrees outside
