An unexpected cold chill came through and the cabin was very cold. However, the thick bedding helped keep our little one warm at night.

Great location with easy access to many local sites. We would definitely go back and would recommend Freedom Ridge to our family and friends...

I had assumed that shampoo and body wash would be provided. Had to run out to get some. There was no hair dryer as well.

The cottage was very clean and cozy. We really appreciated the pastry treats left there by the owners.

Charming! The electric fireplace made our home away from home warm & cozy, and the sofa was very comfortable. Our host was friendly and attentive. We appreciated the extra blankets & pillows and a comfortable matress. Plenty of towels. A perfect location to get around the Hills and attractions. Our grandson loved having his very own loft bedroom, and was excited to come back to roast marshmallows over our private campfire. I only wish I had kept this a secret so we will be sure to have availability on our next trip to South Dakota!

The cookware was adequate, but there was only one medium and one small size fry pan for a cabin that accommodates 12 people. Also would be nice to have a griddle and measuring cups. I’ll just have to remember to bring my own. Otherwise it was great.

I liked that it was in the trees, and it was very clean and up-to-date. The campfire area was very nice with two picnic tables and several chairs.

I really liked the cabin. This was the best cabin I searched on google around the area for other cabins and this cabin by far was the best one.

My only sadness was that they didn't provide coffee filters. We went and bought some when we picked up kitchen perishables. They did provide a packet of coffee, so that was confusing! Really, the place was incredible. I highly recommend staying there!

Freedom Ridge Cabins were spectacular. Each cabin had its own firepit and had privacy from the other cabins. But the cabins are close enough that you do see your neighbors when they come out for their own fires. The cabin itself provided pots/pans/cooking utensils, stove, fridge, microwave, coffeepot, bedding, and towels. You can buy firewood from the family home - their kids even sell s'mores kits. They provide a lot of information about attractions in the area. And the location is perfect. Close to everything, but off in the woods where you can watch deer and birds.

Stayed three nights on a girls trip! Cute cabin and perfect set up for four women. My only complaint would be that we were so busy seeing all the sites that we didn’t get to enjoy the cabin more! Really nice outdoor area. Convenient location to all the things to see!

Some would say no swimming pool. But 10 minutes away is a wonderful swimming and boating lake. OOP's I gues that turned into a positive.

We loved everything about the cabin, it had everything you could want for a rustic cabin atmoshper. It was quiet and beautiful location. The location was perfect for seeing all of the major sights with not much driving. It was also close to fuel groceries and any other neccities. Can't say enough about this place. We had a great time.

Just wish it was slightly bigger to accommodate everyone sitting together in the main living area of the cabin.

Loved the location. Centrally located for all the attractions we did. Went to Jewel Cave, Wind Cave, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, and Black Elk Peak hike. Close to both Hill City and Keystone.
