Clean and quiet room. Close to Santa Monica Pier (40 min walk, 10 min car). Private parking lot for 15 $ is also cheap for Santa Monica.

Either someplace to sit to eat breakfast with tables or lap trays would have been great. Somewhat quieter hallways. Noise into room from hallways was noticeable

Registration staff welcoming and helpful. Sundecks were really nice feature. Great, central location in very walkable area of Santa Monica. Bed very comfortable and HVAC system was efficient. Good, satisfying options for breakfast including hot pancakes.

Walls are thin so lots of noise but comfy beds made up for it. The breakfast was limited in options but okay. Staff could be friendlier… one was annoyed when I asked to use the key to use the bathroom downstairs for my daughter when we arrived.

Great location! Highly recommend making dinner reservations at Socalo next door. Beds are extremely comfortable!

Road noise considerable especially for staying 5 nights in our particular room. A more quieter location within the hotel would have been ideal, so do ask.

The ‘breakfast’ was very simple (seems like this is the standard these days) but there was nowhere to sit down and eat, would be great to have an option to sit at a table.

The beds are great and everything was clean. Very short and easy drive to Santa Monica beachfront. Close to Venice Beach.

One day at breakfast I spilled milk on the table outside. I mentioned it to the tall breakfast supervisor, who told me not to worry, no problem. But neither he nor his assistant cleaned the table, so I got some napkins and hot water and did the best I could to clean it off bc other people were already beginning to sit down at the table I’d dirtied. He or his assistant could have done a better job in less time with a towel. Maybe I share the blame bc I didn’t specifically ask him to clean the table, but I felt that should have been obvious when I told him I’d spilled! Also it would be nice if there were regular mint tea at breakfast as the Moroccan mint has green tea in it, which is highly caffeinated.

Breakfast was good and for those who prefer decaf, there’s a coffee shop across the street. What I liked the most was how the staff, with only one small exception, were so friendly and anticipated my needs. I woke up cold one night and took the coverlet from the second bed. When I returned to my room the next evening. The staff, without being asked, had given me an extra blanket. So kind and thoughtful. Similarly, the front desk staff made change for me to ride the busses and patiently answered all my questions.
