Big rooms (for NY), very friendly staff and a very clean. Great location if you are tourist and want to be close but not right in the middle of action.

Price was reasonable, but boy have prices increased in NYC!!!

This was not my first time at the Hotel Girarfe, and will not be my last. I like the location (centrally located and walkable to Times Square and Soho. Good wifi in the room and lobby. Very comfortable rooms and quiet (if on a higher floor). Love the breakfast and all day snacks, but hope they bring back the evening wine and cheese.

The rooms are dimly lit and the bathroom door was glass so the person inside was visible (if blurred).

The location and the amazing customer service, both before and during the stay. I also liked the availability of free soft drinks and snacks in the lobby.

Room was warm, air conditioning is below par. Bathroom could do with modernising. Roof Terrace was closed on the first night we stayed and again the next day due to private events, which meant it was unavailable the times we wanted to use it. Breakfast was a very light self service option in the lobby which suited us but might not suit you if you like a proper hotel breakfast.

Fantastic location in midtown near the Park/ 28th st subway that can get you quickly up or downtown. Short stroll from Empire State & Flatiron. Plenty of nice little bars and restaurants nearby. Clean, very comfortable beds, and very helpful and friendly staff. Coffee, bottled water, cold sodas, fruit, crisps all available 24/7 in lobby as part of the price.

The hotel rooms are a little on the dark side (as in not well lit and a little dated.). Also, the location wasn't prime for the activities we had planned (this isn't really a knock on the hotel, just we should have planned a little wiser.)

We like the vibe of the hotel. We like the comfort of the beds. We kinda like the location (although there are better locations in the city.). We also like the fresh fruit which is always available.

More or brighter lights in rooms - especially living area of suite. Also wish restaurant in hotel were open for breakfast or lunch.

The Hotel Giraffe was exceptionally clean, courteous staff, great offering of snacks, and refreshments. The room had a nice terrace. The bed was supercomfortable, along with a lovely large bathroom. very well situated, Mid Town, close to subway line 6. clean and very large room for NYC standard. We had an en suite room, perfect if you travel with kid. 11th floor very quiet. Nice personal if you need help. Great WiFi

We were very pleased.

I loved the boutique feel of the hotel. Very friendly staff that were very helpful- they would hail taxi’s and kept our luggage until we could check in. They had a whole area of snacks, coffee and drinks. The room was a great size .

The staff were absolutely brilliant - everything necessary was simple and anything extra that was asked was dealt with brilliantly - the room was cleaned and presented fantastically each day and honestly could not fault any part of the service

It was disappointing that there was no breakfast service due to COVID. We had to go out every morning to get breakfast, which was a bit of pain especially on cold days.

The location was great and all the staff was helpful and kind.

Light switches in the room don’t work for f you turn off light fixtures manually. No available outlets by bedsides.

Nothing, I'd stay here again!

Great location, excellent spot to explore NY. The rooms - we had a suite - are spacious with enough closet space. Having a little balcony was a huge plus, even in winter. And, very important during this pandemic, the room was spotless.
