The shampoo container had barely any shampoo and the conditioner was completely out. I have really long hair, so that was disappointing. I would have had to get dressed, call down and break in the middle of my shower to get conditioner, so I just went without. Everything else was great though. I had "paid" for breakfast, but would have had to pay$9 more for an american breakfast, so I had limited choices, but the granola yogurt was quite delicious.

Bed was comfortable, pillow was wonderful! The view was absolutely stunning. The facility is quiet and so peaceful. Breakfast was yummy, but slim on options.

I love Roosevelt Island and much prefer staying here to Manhattan. But if you are coming for the city, you are taking the tram every time you want to go there.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Beautiful hotel, good view, super close to the tram, at a good cost with friendly staff all around. I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else in New York City.

One staff member was not helpful when we needed maintenance in the room. We had to ask another staff member later for the same request. Rooftop bar music was too loud, and there should not be smoking or vaping allowed there or in front of the hotel. Also, there needs to be a better place for loading and unloading passengers and luggage for vehicles not using the valet service. Staff was courteous though. We just had to double park, etc. Our booking rate was double of what it could have been. Because we booked a few days earlier, the price was quite a bit more than if we waited 3 more days. That is a bit much.

Location, views, cleanliness, spacious rooms, courteous staff-2nd staff member was very helpful with maintenance issues and room change needed. Other staff members were kind and helpful with rooftop access elevator. Beautiful hotel and loved being on the quiet island away from Manhattan.

The staff was a bit rude when I asked to go upstairs 45 min before closing on Saturday night. It seems they were trying to go home early even though all I wanted was a video to make content about my stay as a creator. It was my friend’s first time in New York which is actually where I am from and it was very disheartening and impolite of them to tell me I could not go take a photo. Zero customer service skills were used by the doorman and the person who was supposed to be at the front desk but seemed to be hiding in a side room.

I loved the views, the bed, the area and the comfort. I also love the valet service and felt my car was safe. Such a great valet staff. They are attentive and each time I have come to this hotel, they have exceeded my expectations.

Roosevelt Island is a nice, clean, modern place with great views and fun public transportation options like the ferry and tramway. So, Graduate New York is in a fantastic location. I loved the hotel's design, which you can appreciate in every detail throughout the hotel. My stay was an outstanding experience, from the front desk to a visit to the panoramic room bar. This hotel is truly an oasis of art in New York. I can highly recommend it to my friends and would definitely love to come back here again.

There is almost nothing I didn't like. The free bus ran the island, the sky tram is a scenic and cheap way to get back and forthing into the city but the island has almost anything you'd need. The end of the park was closed to no fault of the hotel.

I loved the atmosphere, the views, the professionalism from the staff, and the bartender handled some rowdy guests well when they were unhappy with the bar closing. The clam chowder was superb. I'll be back as soon as possible.

Not the easiest option for accessibility to town and airports but far outweighed by the benefits of a great hotel, skyline views that are hard to beat and an easy vibe that’s harder to come by in central manhattan.

Amazing location. Though you’re not in the beating heart of the city, the views are spectacular, the surroundings are serene and safe. There are some local options for dining and the hotel itself offered an excellent standard of service and hospitality.

The bathroom was lacking in layout and functional features. The sink was so deep and the faucet so high that water splashed out onto the counter every time I used it. The counter had too little space for two people to put their personal items. There was no place close to the shower to hang my towel so I ended up tossing it over the shower door which was challenging because I'm under 5 feet tall. I had no place to set my clean clothing other than on the toilet seat lid which meant my overnight clothing had to be laid on the wet cramped counter. A few more places to hang towels and maybe a small seat or bench under the towel bar could improve the functional status of showering in the bathroom.

Liked the location as it was convenient to Manhattan. Felt like we were just outside the Manhattan hustle and bustle and enjoyed the quieter more calming atmosphere. We could get to Manhattan quickly by walking to the gondola or the train. We loved the full book shelves in the lobby, which was comfortable and welcoming. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially Wendy who checked us in. I was very disappointed with the taste of the Whiskey sour I ordered at the bar in the Panorama room. However, the view up there was beautiful.

The soft drinks were $10 for a multipack can!

Location location location. Fabulous views. Easy transportation on the cable car, ferry and subway. Quiet away from the crowds but only 15 mins from the action! Staff were great. Complimentary coffee was nice touch and free water refills for the room a bonus. Rooms are functional and clean. Not a lot of space for luggage but this is New york.

Service water should be in the room. Yes it was free of you ask for it, however when you you’re tired from travelling taking that minor extra step could be too bothersome
