As I said, the hotel is going down in quality over time. This time the jets in the bathtub in our room did not work (and the room price is higher if you stay in the room with the jetted tub). One of the window curtains had a large rip in it. The elevator doors are banged up and not fixed. Overall, it's clear that the hotel management is not maintaining the property to decent standards. Breakfast has been stripped down. It used to include made-to-order omelets and other such extras. Now it's just boiled eggs, fruit salad, and cereal. This is in the heart of Silicon Valley and anybody can find better hotels in this price range.

It's a decent hotel in a decent location. We have been coming here over the last several years and this hotel is going down in quality.

The elevator had some issues and thankfully was working when I needed it to check out. Breakfast is more a a snack bar but still cool to have. Better than no breakfast , had some fruit the morning of checkout :)

The property was great! The location was exceptional, a lot of places were walking distance and the neighborhood felt very safe and comfortable to walk around freely. Bed was really comfy , love that they had a soak tub. Also loved that there was a guide for the tv makes the watching experience a lot more simple.

Hot food has been discontinued for happy hour, breakfast as well as room service. For Happy Hour you get 2 drinks and there used to be hot food like empanadas, fried mozzarela as well as cold cuts, cheeses, nuts, salsa, chips etc. Our Friday happy hour was make your own salad. Breakfast used to be a full hot breakfast with eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles and made to order omelet, plus fruit, yogurt, cereal and pastries. Hot food is completely gone and left with bare minimum continental breakfast. Elevator was broken. 1st floor ice maker was broken had to go to 3rd floor to get ice.

This is my 5th stay in 2 years. The staff is very helpful. There is no microwave in the room, but I requested one and it was brought to my room. The layout of the room is nice with desk, couch, 2 bathroom basins, 2 person bathtub and shower with lots of pressure. My boyfriend said I am going to miss that shower!

On my arrival the elevator was working only sporadically. I asked the desk clerk that checked me in to direct me to the stairs. SHE SAID THERE WERE NO STAIRS. I told her there had to be a staircase somewhere. She just said she was sorry and walked off. I was about to check back out of the hotel when another guest said she found the stairs and directed me to them. Over the next two days i asked the other desk clerks where the stairs were and they all knew where they were located. ................................................................................................................................. even though it was a non smoking hotel, there seemed to also be a stale cigarette odor in all the halls

Breakfast is very dull, and the water pressure at the villas are quite low.

Breakfast is minimal. the hotel and rooms are out-dated and old. Bad was big but old and not that comfort. Rooms are getting cleaned very late in the day so had to waive it once back to work and room was not cleaned yet. overall- it was grand many years ago.

The room i got, teh Villa is very big. Kitchen facilities are nice - having a fridge in the room

Beds were TOO soft and elevator didn't work sometimes. Also, hot water is not kept warm. It goes warm toward room temperature.

Location. Food options are just across the street. Walking neighborhood is very recommended and doable. Also just driving along the main street one can reach many good spots. Room was really spacious, even the bathroom! That was a plus. Breakfast is super, however, it doesn't change day to day so after two days in a row it won't feel attractive to the palad.

There were many bloodstains on the floor and the chairs. The breakfast was horrible. There was not enough food that was put out to eat

The Grand Hotel feels grand like its name because of its wide hall ways, very spacious rooms and bathroom, but its breakfast did not feel grand at all. The dining area was dark, and the spread was disappointing. The room did not have a microwave as I would expect of most/all similar hotels in the area. I know I should not have taken it for granted, but this is the first hotel I have stayed in my 10-days travel in the US that did not have a microwave in the room, especially considering how "grand" it is. The front desk staff in the morning is cold and unfriendly when I asked if there is a microwave I can use in the dining area, he said to look for the dining staff but there was no one in the dining area. I went back to ask the front staff where is the dining staff is, and then he says he doesn't know.

There was supposed to be snacks and/or wine in our room, and a microwave, nope.(+ no vending machines). The bedroom lamp near slider is stopped out. The radio/alarm doesn't work. The NOISE coming from the vents/ac was ridiculous. Ourswas turned off and it WAS SO LOUD, we didn't sleep well

Around the borders of the shower floor there were many black stains or mold in the grout. The bathroom had only 2 hooks for towels. A front desk staff spoke too fast and it was difficult to understand him.

The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The hotel was quiet despite being located on a busy street. Free parking.

The breakfast was limited due to a late delivery. I expected a little bit more seeing that I was charged for it. But they said the holidays caused a delay in shipping the breakfast items for some reason.

This hotel was amazing, just what I needed. Peaceful and clean.

the hot water for tea was not hot enough (in room for shower & for the tea at breakfast), the breakfast room was not vacuumed, the utensils for the boil egg was too clumsy & awkward, the bread selection was not great, croissant was not good, had better at Costco, breakfast room w/ large windows overlooking pool was nice, lastly perhaps a bathmat & more towel bars in the bathroom.

FREE convenient parking, clean room, spacious bathroom, large TV, dresser, two sinks in bathroom, large shower, shower gel, hand gel, complimentary breakfast with fruits, tea, coffee, eggs, croissant. tea packets & coffee in room. close to my family in Sunnyvale, trader joes, the farmers market, restaurants. Excellent location.

Major language barrier. Thick accents, making it really hard to understand staff. Found cockroaches in my bathroom, which I know isn't "their fault" but the whole place looked like the bed got made and the floor vacuumed. Definitely in need of a deep clean. I wouldn't even shower cause it was gross.

The beds are super comfortable, staff was friendly. Room was actually huge too. I loved the little coffee station that was paired with wine glasses and the robes in the closet for use.
