Beautiful little resort with idyllic position and facilities including two lovely pools and a fantastic jacuzzi. The staff were brilliant, welcoming and helpful. I cannot actually fault anything at Grassy Flats.

Absolutely no complaints. We loved having the availability of the paddle boards and kayaks, as the beach is right there on the property ready to be explored. Not ideal for actual swimming, but it's the Keys and that is not the draw for visiting.

This resort is a secret gem. Well thought through and well cared for in the landscape, buildings/rooms, decor, pools, restaurant and poolside bar. We loved interacting with the professional, yet laid back and very accommodating staff and look forward to a return vacation in the future.

The “Beach” area was very smelly & slimy. That was the only thing upsetting about this resort. It’s a shame.

We were there in the August off-season and the beach had been recently re-dredged. The beach is also small but typical for the Keys.

We loved our time at Grassy Flats resort including the stunning ocean view from our private balcony, the adults only pool surrounded by fabulous Caribbean plants and trees, friendly and helpful staff, and a great on-site restaurant. The room was well apportioned, quiet, and comfortable.

What a paradise this place is! Loved everything about Grassy Flats. The check in was easy and the staff very friendly. The room was really beautiful with a balcony and the stunning sea view. I spent a couple of hours watching the sunrise and just across the road you can also watch the sunset. There is a deck bar and the cocktails are great. The view from the bar is unbelievable. I just loved everything about this stay, would come back for sure.

The only negative was the sargassum seaweed that was present at all the beaches in the Keys. Nasty doesn’t even begin.

Loved the privacy. We practically had the whole place to ourselves. The pool was clean and nicely done with the tropical feel. Absolutely adores Cory, our breakfast hostess. Coffee was free upstairs on the terrace and we bought several of our breakfast meals there. Just right.

It was very refreshing to find accommodation in the US where the owner is passionate about being eco friendly and plastic free. The “plastic” is all compostable and there are only refillable toiletries in the rooms. The 2 bed double and king suites were super comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. There is free use of the paddle boards and kayaks which was a pleasant bonus. All the staff were fantastic, friendly, and very keen to help sort any issues. The hotel is well situated very close to all the supermarkets and facilities in Marathon and not too long a drive from either key west or key largo. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back.
