How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Property was older and needs some attention and there were no windows to open.
Staff was very responsive, friendly, beds were comfortable, hotel clean and in a good location.

Such tight parking spaces, but every hotel had that issue in Wildwood. Wildwood continues to build condos, but they do not build any more parking areas.
Nick the manager was there whenever you needed anything. Friendly and has the place clean. He even went above with the parking as I have a bigger vehicle. Since the spaces are so tight at any hotel in Wildwood. There was not a person that did not stop and talk with him as he was either sitting in the office or out with the guests. Very friendly and has great customer service skills. I will stay there again. Yes it maybe a little outdated but it was very nice. Thumbs up to Nick and the staff.

I would recommend more safety bars in the shower.

I just wish the room was a little more updated. Like there was a small microwave in the room, with a small but full size refrigerator/freezer in the room, but no small round table and 2 chairs to sit at and eat any left overs we may have re-heated (we had to sit on the bed). Also, the room could use a full length mirror instead of just the medicine cabinet mirror, which could be replaced, BTW (take a look inside). Additionally, there are no hooks on the back of any doors, or on the side of the shower/tub to hang wet towels. The toilet could use an upgrade as well. One more thing…in the advertising of this hotel you should add photos of the INSIDE of the rooms and not just the outside building and lighted sign and the pool. People need to see what is inside the room they are paying to rent.
The location was great and the the staff was awesome. The guests were all friendly, as it is a family oriented hotel.

While everything was very clean which is most important, the bathroom could use a good update. The toilet itself needs some attention, it was a little unsteady.
The room was larger than expected! The two queen beds were so comfortable and the full size refrigerator was another super feature! Nick was so kind and made us feel so welcome!

The rooms are small but that it is to be expected. Wish they had a larger suite option.
The staff was excellent. Great room service and management. This is a quintessential Wildwood motel - good value for the money.

I didn't like one bed it wasn't comfortable.
I like location and swim pool and staff are friendly. Manager Nick is nice and friendly you feel like you're at home.

The reviews about being dated are true but it’s really not a big deal everything is clean and in good shape

I fell in the bathtub because there were no slip guards in th tub. All I did was lift my foot to clean it and the next thing I knew I was face down in the tub. Our room was even touched the first day, had to go to the desk to complain.

The house keeper doesn’t change the sheets daily. It’s every 2-3 days

The place was extremely dated old mismatch furniture. Stained rug. Broken toilet seat and the toilet wouldn’t flush. It was broken

There were no utensils or cooking supplies in the room.

walking distance to everything you may need, comfortable beds, very clean, amazing front desk customer service, greeted by the cutest little dog Bella who was so sweet! even let us leave our car a little longer while we enjoyed the beach after check out

Liked everything about the place. I was on the 3rd floor which was a hike. Before I left Nick even said next time I'll put you on 2nd floor 😊
Room was clean and room service always available with clean towels, toiletries and extra pillows or blankets. Staff was very friendly and respectful. Nick was exceptional.,.always on premises for whatever you need and very helpful with questions on transportation, restaurants, parking etc. His assistant Belle was an adorable asset to our vacation. My granddaughter and her friend looked forward to spending some time with her everyday.
