It was not the cleanest. There was a towel with lipstick on it, grossed me out. I didn’t like the amount of towels, usually there are more than 1 pair of bath towels at hotels I’ve stayed with a whirlpool tub.

The property staff were great, kind friendly nice folk. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Good heat and air conditioning.

I saw broken car window glass left in the SE side of the lot and the screen on my window was very bent from someone trying to get in! (Main floor so I would book on the other levels in the future.) Very nice breakfast with much variety and good coffee!

Very attentive employees with offers of help and so positive!

The bathroom door wouldn't lock, and curtains couldn't fully close. Would've given a much better rating if it weren't for those 2 things.

The beds were comfy. It was clean and well-kept. Breakfast was good.

Three of four bathroom light are burned out. Room is very dark. Musty, bleach smell. The breakfast is processed everything. No fresh fruit. Almost nothing for a diabetic to eat. Ice machine doesn’t work. Hotel is old. Booking thru Booking.com was not compatible with the Hampton system. Check in was a hassle.

Pool was not available in the middle of summer! It was the main reason for picking this hotel. Please do pool construction in the off season. It should never be closed in the summer and if so, put it on your site. I would have chosen another hotel. We had to watch people swimming in the pool at the hotel next door from our room.

It seemed as if the hotel was out of everything. The breakfast was sparse with no pastries, we had to ask to have eggs prepared with no pepper (which the staff did with special courtesy). There was no map or address to find the hotel.

When I got there the pool was being renovated, which was the reason why I choose the Hotel. The first room they gave us smelled like urine, the toilet handle was gone, and the phone didn't work.

The price was good, the breakfast was actually good. The location was perfect. The staff were really nice. There is a Dutch bros. and a starbucks near by and of course a lot of fast food restaurants. There is also a CVS like 2 blocks away.

The shower head in the bathroom needs replacing. When the water is in shower mode, it still continues to spray out of the faucet on the back of my legs and feet. (Rm 103) The coffee pot was a single serving keurig. Ice machine was broken.

The receptionist was very professional and polite. Breakfast was good, aside from over ripe bananas. The room appeared clean, layout was a bit dysfunctional.

Housekeeping did not do a good job of cleaning. Found a ball of someone hair on the floor. Did not know I was suppose to schedule a cleaning when staying multiple days which most I have stayed in never had to request cleaning service. So pretty much it didn't get clean the next day no fresh towels they didn't bother to leave an extra roll of toilet paper no cups to make coffee inside the room.

Not new to merced was born there so I knew what to expect of the location. The young man who checked me in Giovanni I believe that's his name he was SUPER polite and helpful.. Employees like him will make people come back.

As above, no napkins (cloth or paper) were available! Our toilet handle was broken when we arrived so we left the lid off the tank and pulled the chain in order to flush! While the price of the room wasn't horrible, my husband and I expected better from a Hilton Hotel chain.

The breakfast was good, much to our delight. However, there were NO napkins! The poor lady covering the breakfast room said that there weren't any orders for them! In our room, the handle on the toilet was broken! Couldn't be fixed until after we were checking out!

Hampton Suites was what we expected and all was fine. We did miss having self serve ice machine, it was out of order. I am sure we could have asked for ice and gotten it. We bought some ice for our cooler, so it worked out.

We liked the, included, morning breakfast. Many choices, hot foods, cereal, variety of bread products, fruit, make your own waffles station, juice and coffee. Wow! We talked to Emilee, on the second morning we were there, she was making sure everything was filled and also preparing the cooked food for the chafing dish. She worked so hard to keep everything going,, we had to be sure to talk to her and thank her for doing such a great job. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and said hello to every guest they came in contact with. That was very nice.
