Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesI payed for two room on booking.com and was told at check in the second room had not been put on my card yet so I let them run my card again. when I got my credit card statement booking charges me for both rooms and the hotel charged me again for the second room and charged more than what I paid for it the first time. I contacted the property with no results

United StatesTerrible, short staffed, lack of towels for room and pool. Hotel exterior and room doors would did not shut well and not secure. Inside security lock completed broken off, bathroom sliding door was broken and dangerously ajar and wouldn't shut. Even details were lacking such as USB chargers being broken. Then they over billed me. I complained to Hilton, and they agreed to lower bill to what booking.com promised but no other assistance offered. No really cared about my family as a guest here.
Outdoor pool was fine.

When we arrived at 11.30pm in the night,The manager told us she did tried to reach me via call but,the fact is i have never receive any calls informing me about out of rooms prior to my arrival at the property. Plus,i have received 2x confirmation from booking.com, and today they charged the fare to my credit cards while WE DONT EVEN STAY THERE. I am 27 week pregnant plus,both me and my colleague have been exhausted with driving around for meeting.

United StatesThe floors were never vacuumed or swept, there was garbage and dirt all over the floors. I had to clean hair off the toilet seat before I could use it. The TV in our room didn’t work. The shower was cracked and looked like it had black mold on it. I thought for one night I could use the shampoo and conditioner that is usually in the room, couldn’t because there was only conditioner left in the bathroom. The night table was falling off the wall.
