The eating area was dirty and worn out. Who puts carpeting in a eating area where all guests commune. Rooms were comfortable but worn out. Swimming pool water was extremely cold. Only one ice machine for the entire building and it was broken.

There was no Kleenex in the room, but every other convenience was there. The bathroom was small, but not excessively so.

Breakfast was good, and the location was very convenient. Despite the usual struggle with staffing shortage, we were well cared for and our room was clean. Concern was shown to us in the room placement we were given in the hotel. The staff members were very friendly. The cost of the room was reasonable, and the location was terrific.

Haven't ate breakfast this morning yet. But the room was decent. Staff that I seen was nice. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that once they take payment off your card, they take $25 extra which is not disclosed upon reservation. You tell all charges up front not just take as you go. Damage fee no biggie, but it's not online but they take it out anyway NOT OK.

Looks like there has been some damage perhaps caused by past guests. Looks like they may have a lot of college type guests and perhaps they have done some damage. The hotel has appeared to be trying to fix these issues.

The tub flooded water everywhere. The staff just gave me towels to clean it up and treated me like I did something wrong while it was clearly a broken infrastructure. They offered no room change, and no refund.

Let me preface this by saying that Hampton Inn is ALWAYS my first choice if there is one in the location that I'm traveling to. They set the standard for our family. But this property doesn't measure up to the standard I've always found at previous Hampton Inn's. It needs to be "refreshed". Examples. The toilet bowl had a visible streak of running rust. The bathtub bottom surface had two large discolored spots from standing water. The faucet outlet in the tub was loose to the touch. The ice machine down by the lobby turned out "slush", not ice cubes. Hallway and elevator floors/carpets were worn and stained. The mini-fridge in the room hasn't likely been defrosted in a year, as the small freezer section was plugged in accumulated ice and unusable. Considering price of nearly $700 for a 3-night stay, it was a disappointing visit.

The staff was friendly and very helpful when I asked for a visible alarm clock in the room. (I'm very hard of hearing, almost stone deaf without my hearing aids, so a "wakeup call" is not helpful. A visible clock on the nightstand is essential.) The location was very good for my needs.

sink and tub stopped up, once finally drained we tried showering then when opening the bathroom door smoke alarms going off like crazy due to steam, the lady from front desk said “happens all the time” we requested refund due to issues and were told no after being told by the man that plunged the sink overnight that we would not be charged for our room.

The only reason we booked this hotel is because the pool was open for use (we could have saved a lot of money on a hotel without a pool). The pool was SO COLD, my 7 & 11 year olds wouldn’t swim in it. It took their breath away, it was so cold. When I spoke the front desk girl about it, she made excuses and basically told me it is what it is. The rooms were on the small side for a family of four and they beds weren’t the most comfortable but otherwise they were fine.
