The price of the meal we ate in the restaurant was a bit high but we were tired and did not want to go out. Otherwise, the hotel and location were great.

We stayed in a water view king room. The bed was comfortable and the view was pretty. The hotel was clean. We ate a very good meal at the hotel on the patio looking at the lake. We only spent a day here, passing through but we have spent longer in the Finger Lakes in the past. It is a beautiful area with plenty of wineries and waterfalls.

Beautiful well maintained lakeside view. Wonderful bar offering local wines. The bartender was so knowledgeable about the local wineries and even provided a list/recommendations of restaurants in the area. Always love being able to grab coffee and a quick breakfast onsite (included) to start the day. Convenient location with plenty to do in the area.

Room was a little dirty, but I'm guessing that's due to staffing and the speed that they have to turn rooms.

The view, first and foremost. Get a water view room! The staff is super friendly, especially the folks at the hotel bar. Desk staff was also very nice during our entire stay. The view of the lake is superb. It's hard to find an affordable hotel right on one of lakes but this one is a gem. Bedding was fresh and clean.

The pool was nice but the water was cloudy and a bit chilly. The attendant was there which was helpful but the hot tub’s jets weren’t working either and this disappointed other guest using it.

The location was amazing. It was almost spotless. The bartender in the bar/ restaurant on the property was very friendly and attentive. He made dinner and drinks fun.

We did have an issue with payment through Booking.com which I'm still waiting to be resolved, almost a month later !!! Breakfast selection was ok, bit the use of tiny plastic trays and bowl was horrendous !! Not good for the environment and very cheap and nasty. Cleanliness at breakfast was also lacking in attention. When I went down to breakfast on our second day, there was still rubbish on the floor from the previous day

YOU NEED TO HAVE THE REFRIGERATOR HAVE THE FREEZER PART IN THEM, COULD NOT REFREEZE YOUR FREEZE PACKS.

It's just far enough outside of downtown Penn Yan that you can't walk it. Also, the summer prices in the Finger Lakes have gone up considerably -- to the point that I can no longer afford it.

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was delious! The staff was very friendly. The waiter in the restaurant was very accommodating. We walked in with 12 people and he put tables together for us and he waited on us very efficiently and friendly.

The bathroom could had been cleaner. My wife found someone hair on the bathroom wall. We always clean the tub ourselves before using but things like that disappoint.

The breakfast was great, the view of the lake was also an amazing experience for my kid. I think in general the location of the hotel was great.

Parking lot at night is poorly lit.

Loved everything!

This particular Hampton Inn is exceptional when it comes to location, cleanliness and comfortable rooms....and the morning breakfast was a good start of the day! On the evening of our stay we enjoyed the live music of Dave Boyd in the lounge, which was a lot of fun and the bartender Jeff was great!
