How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There wasn't anything we didnt like! When we got there to check in, there was a computer glitch and our cc payment was saying we (my husband) canceled it which he didnt! Ashden, the young lady at the front desk was doing all she could for us. Finally I called the cc company and they were able to give me a confirmation number and it worked! We talked to many employees and not one of them was rude! Everyone we encountered was extremely nice. The hot breakfast bar was amazing! Already trying to plan my trip for next year. I definitely recommend this place if you need to stay in this area!! Ok, when I go to submit this there is a sad face where there should be a happy face! I don't know how to fix it! Lol
The only thing I didn't like was our room didn't have a bathtub! But that isn't anything major!! Lol

The front desk attendant was excellent. We had trouble with our TV and he was at the front desk and he came and fixed it immediately. He was very helpful and kind throughout our stay. The hotel was new and very nice.

Everything was amazing. Only process of improvement could be to have a little bigger shower shelf. Otherwise everything was great and super clean!!

Right next to I-24. Great for getting off the freeway, sleeping for the night and getting right back on the next morning. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very kind and helpful. Jennifer especially was nice and quite lovely! They even offer free bottles of water and moon pies to get you back on the road!

I loved that there is a new hotel in Pleasantview and the location right across from the Dunkin was convenient. It was close to the areas we were going. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the service was good.

The staff was absolutely amazing. My whole bridal party stayed here for my wedding and everyone loved the Hampton and the staff. The staff all knew I was the bride to be and were so catering and social. They even gave me a little wedding gift before we checked out. The facility was clean and the breakfast was remarkable. The staff here obviously takes pride on there work and it shows!! I would recommend this Hampton Inn to any of my closest friends and family.

There is nothing that we didn't like, everything was perfect! Thank you for your hard work!
Perfect hotel, very very very clean, super extra nice staff, very good breakfast, the ladies at the breakfast area are so thoughtful and they are cleaning and refilling from 6am to 10am non stop. From the hostess at the front to the cleaning lady or the working man, everybody is nice to you and make you feel comfortable. We will be back soon! Never been disappointed, stayed there twice so far.

Having to leave.
The morning visits during breakfast with the beautiful, Jennifer. This lady exudes the spirit of God with her radiant smile and positive uplifting, kind and warm conversation. The front desk was always warm, congenial and yet very professional.

No fault of theirs but to many kids in pool to use! We were only there one night.
Hotel is new and decorated very nice. Even still smells new. Excellent space in rooms!

Bathroom was a roll in shower (required for my husband who is an amputee) - the floor is not sloped correctly...Basically any shower flooded the bathroom unless you made a towel fort on the floor to keep the water from running everywhere (which is hard to do with the whole 2 towels that are in the room.) But we did end up getting more towels :)
Breakfast was good, the younger guy that worked evenings was great - so nice!! So were the 2 ladies that worked during the days. Bed was really comfortable, and in general the room/hotel was not overly loud (door noise etc. was pretty quiet)
