It was on the main highway. So there was no where to walk. And we could hear the people on the floor above us. We were on the ground floor facing the parking lot and could easily be seen. However an excellent restaurant was just up the main highway where the hotel was so that was a real advantage.

The breakfast was included and was excellent. There was a very comfortable large area of the lobby. Our room was very large with a sofa bed and extra TV adjoining the main part of the bedroom. it was the same price as a regular king room.

Property was super clean and had a great vibe. Right from the start with front desk Kathy, Ina and Nancy. We have traveled the country and stayed many nights at Hampton and this property was the best . The rooms were so amazing and spotless from top to bottom. This staff sets a high standard for all hotels across the country. I rarely write reviews but I actually could not wait to share this. Smiles all around this place!! Hats off Potsdam Hampton this staff sets the bar for success!!!

The hotel was quiet and very clean. The staff helped me with a booking issue that was completely my fault without issue. Staff at check in and check out were very friendly. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the pool area was very clean. We live locally and came for a New Year's get away to use the pool. We will definitely return!

The ceiling of our bathroom needed to be repaired and the view from the window was a drive through fast food.

The food was delicious! There was a very good variety, and the food was fresh and well prepared. Hot food was hot and cold food cold!

The price I agreed to at the time of reservation was NOT the price Booking.com sent to the hotel to charge me. You told the hotel I agreed to over 100$$ more per night than I agreed to at the time of the reservation. I wound up paying over 200 more than I expected. Sad situation as I was not EXPECTING the bill to be over 800 dollars!! I would like someone to contact me to adjust my bill DOWN. I am a VIP booking customer.

I am opening a complaint through the hotel as they are not at fault. Booking.com sent them the wrong price. I will be trying to get over $200 back from booking asap.

Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, very clean and neat, and the beds are super comfy! Also, the TV was on when I entered the room and it said “Welcome Tara” on the screen. Nice little touch.

Chemicals in the pool room made It almost unbearable to be in to supervise our kids. Been to a lot of hotel pools but this was crazy strong. All of us had burning eyes, had to site by the outside door and crack It so our kids could have fun.
