Love the breakfast but wish they would go back to the way they use to do oatmeal

There was an issue with our reservation. We noticed our WiFi username/password wasn’t working. I went to the front desk and the attendant was very pleasant and was able to help me with getting a new password, but she informed me there was an issue with my reservation. I used booking.com to reserve our room, and she said she couldn’t find me in the system. She said she would check into it and let me know. Later on someone came knocking on the door while we were napping. We didn’t answer the door. Then we had a call to the room. Again didn’t answer. I called back later and she had found the issue. Seems the computer system had us as a no call no show. I was told the general manager would get this fixed Monday. The real issue for me was when someone came to our door and they were trying to get in. We could hear someone trying to get into our room! This was after I was told the issue was known and would be corrected. My husband looked out the peep hole and noticed a front desk attendant, along with 2 customers trying to get in our room! We didn’t answer the door cause we were in our pajamas. They eventually went away. I called the front desk and told the attendant someone was trying to get into our room. He apologized and said our room was accidentally rented out to someone else. We were looking to get peace and quiet this weekend, away from children and family, and it turned out to be a bit annoying due to the situation with our reservation. Overall we had a good experience, but it could have been better.

Great location. Many nice restaurants in close proximity of the hotel. Bed/pillows were comfortable and we were surprised at the great size of the tv.

At check in there was a problem putting in incidental charge to computer. The desk person said that they had started new software that day and he was having problems anything entered .. We had to put in my card 4times to get it to go, seems like some training or complete your updates before rolling it out. I asked when we checked out for a paper receipt we did book through a 3rd party so no receipt. I understand the booking notbeing able to get a receipt but why not the incidental charges being serious out?

Good selection of foods we got down to breakfast about 1/2hour before the breakfast was closed , the ladies asked if we were finished before they closed. Nice room.

Pool was a bit small but refreshing. Not enough garbage cans in the room.

So many comforts makes for an amazing stay . You feel welcome and won't want to leave!! Love: The breakfast, friendly staff, lobby, fitness center... The organization of the room and storage. The bathroom and products available in the room, the refrigerator and charging options were convenient. The cozy beds.

I wish that the bathroom had more towel hooks. I ended up spreading my bath towel over the desk chair to dry (Fortunately, the material was such that it would not be damaged.) I had my first experience with shower gel; I think that I'll stick with soap. The refrigerator did not seem to be working properly (even as we did not need to use it.) It probably should be checked out - room 157.

I really appreciate your availing a breakfast! It takes the pressure of having to prepare for the day. I usually eat a simple breakfast (cold cereal, juice, yogurt-nice addition for me). I would have had a waffle or pancakes, but I slept in too late. (Not a bad tradeoff as I suffer from insomnia!) The staff at the front desk was very nice. Kena (spelling?) was professional and yet personable. I had an abrupt change of travel itinerary and I appreciate the hotel's empathy regarding their cancellation charge policy.

Air Conditioner could be better. I think that's about it. Nothing else I didn't like, as far as I know. Treat yourself to a nice stay in this Hampton! And rest as you should if going on business or family vacation!

Always is a pleasure to stay!! Staff is great!! Always willing to help on anything! Beds are very comfy, shower always hot and location is a plus! Anytime I go to Raleigh, this is my place to stay! Excellent!!
