Stayed because it had a pool and a hot tub. Hot tub did not work. Light hanging off inside the hot tub. Bottom of hot tub had the lining coming off. Did not bubble like a hot tub should. Was not very hot at all

Comfortable to sleep. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The smell in the room was moldy amd the hot tub didn't work again. This one we probably won't come back to though the continental breakfast was really good.

Great location next to lots of restaurants and shopping! Everything was clean and fresh. The staff was so nice and the continental breakfast was really good. I would 10/10 recommend.

This was a ran down Hampton, expecting more like the usual Hampton stay. This location needs renovations throughout, the pool had green mold by the hot tub/windows, it was noisy and the rooms were super small, had no trash bags available so we used grocery bags we brought, trash stayed in hallways over night, staff was friendly enough

The pool had ALOT of chlorine in it; enough to burn your eyes without getting in.

The hot breakfast was nice. Just a short drive to Cedar Point. Pillows were awesome. Very clean facility.. seems like a new or newly remodeled.

Parking lot was cramped, Some rooms had too many guests visiting them. Breakfast area was very crowded for over 1 hour, there was a whole baseball team there at once, and no room for anyone else to sit!

Hot Breakfast was good. Hot tub was very Hot. Room was clean. Was sold out and wanted different room, but was no option. Pool area was good. Elevators to 3rd floor were very smooth and quiet. I didn't see anyone trying to bring their pets into this hotel. Ice maker was strong.

The beds were a little firm for my liking, but my wife is pregnant and prefers a softer mattress currently. My son and I slept well though :)-

There was absolutely zero to complain about.

Honestly we loved everything about this hotel. Absolutely will stay here again. The pool area was great. They had feminine hygiene products in pool bathroom for free. How awesome! Continental breakfast had fresh bacon, egg omelets, and fried potatoes. The women running it was kicking a$$.

When we arrived I waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes for someone to check me in. There was no one there. Eventually another guest told me that the desk clerk had gone out to their sister hotel across the way. My husband had to go to the other hotel to get the desk clerk so that we could check in. After checking in we went out to dinner & when we got to our room we discovered that our tv had “no signal”. I tried changing the inputs on the tv but that did not solve the problem. I called the front desk & was told it had to be on hdmi 1. I told him that I had already tried that but I would try again & call back if it didn’t work. I immediately tried & when it didn’t work I called the front desk again. No one picked up. The phone rang & rang & rang. We tried for about a half hour & still no one picked up. It was about 8:30 in the evening & we had no TV. As I hung the phone up for the last time I noticed that there was quite a bit of dust on the lamp on the nightstand. That lamp had not been dusted in a month! When we went down to breakfast we told the morning person on duty about our experience. It was quite early & she told us that the manager would call us to discuss these issues at around 9 AM. It’s now 9:30 PM & I have not heard from the manager.

loud in the hallways, children playing early in the morning. Girl at front desk needed to be home because she was sick and couldn’t hardly talk. Breakfast was terrible.

I can’t express the level of service and friendliness of the staff! They went out of their way to get me a few items I needed as well as getting us into our room a little earlier. Really exceeded my expectations. Staff was super friendly. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very clean and the beds are super comfortable. What I love most about it is that they have coffee and tea available in the lobby, and a complementary breakfast! I will definitely be back this was my second time staying at the Hampton , Sandusky and remember it as being a great experience as a first!

The hotel looks a little tired, could use some sprucing up. A second elevator would be a big plus. Bed was too soft. The lone lady doing breakfast struggled to keep up with the crowd although she was trying hard. She needed help.

For what we wanted the location was perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of towels, great shower and room was clean.
