Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was on the small side and the building is dated. Signs in the lobby suggest a makeover is in the works, though! Only real complaint is the shower curtain was totally useless. Definitely put down the bath mat and an extra towel or two, because the floor WILL get wet.
The room was very clean and comfortable and had both a refrigerator and microwave. The location was convenient and I felt safe staying here - the hotel offered plenty of parking near the building and doors were also locked at 11 PM for building security purposes. Breakfast was an average hotel continental breakfast, but there were plenty of different options.

The location was convenient, easy to get to. Room was comfortable. We liked having Lazos within walking distance too. Staff was friendly and eager to assist.

United StatesI'm allergic to peppers, so the Denver Omelette was my one dislike, but that's just me. But the lemon potatoes at breakfast made up for it ;o) They were very yummy.
We've stayed at this Hampton Inn & Suites before when we were driving cross country. We stayed here this time since it's a hop, skip and a jump from my friend's mother's house who we were visiting. We love the cleanliness of this hotel, the free parking and free breakfast. We had a 2 queen bed room and the beds were comfortable, although not as soft as we prefer. As with most hotels there isn't enough light in the rooms so it was a bit on the darker side. Also the electrical outlets were a bit loose so we weren't able to charge anything in the lights next to the beds, but had to use only the ones across the room. The hotel was still using Covid-19 protocols so they left notices stating that unless you were there for only 1 day they wouldn't be doing room cleanings during our stays. We were able to get fresh towels after day 2 by asking the housekeeper in the hallway and she also emptied our trash and had our toilet plunged one time when it clogged. We found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were pretty good. I'm not a fan of the Denver Omelette breakfast, but the cheese omelette was very nice. We drove to Village Inn for breakfast one morning to try something different. There are tons of places to eat nearby for lunch and dinner (the Runza restaurant was fantastic and has a very nice dining room). All in all, we really like this Hampton Inn & Suites and plan on staying here again in the future. There's plenty of free parking and we even saw they had put out cookies one night which I haven't seen at any Hampton Inn & Suites since the pandemic began, so that's a great sign!
