How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I felt as if the room I was provided was in need of repairs. The door was all scratched up like someone had sanded multiple places, but didn't paint it. The shower did not work properly, the plunger for the faucet did not engage properly so only less than half the water came out the shower head and the rest came out the faucet to fill the tub. Couldn't take a decent shower. Reported it but no one to fix it. Wasn't offered a different room to take a shower. Very disappointing.
The breakfast was nice and the staff were nice.

Not enough availability of rooms with one bed to meet your needs. Check out personnel could have been friendlier.
The breakfast was great, lots of variety and the staff in the breakfast area were excellent!

Upon arrival we were told they were having issues with their hot water heater and could not guarantee hot water. Apparently plumbers in Blythe do not make "emergency" calls OR the hotel did not want to pay for it and so we were told "take our chances", but no one offered a reduction in the price for this inconvenience. We were tired and this hotel received the best ratings of any in Blythe (which, as we discovered, was a low bar to hurdle). The room itself has a musty odor and the entry door was filthy (all the doors had muddy boot prints on the bottom and finger prints around the handles). The bathroom made us cringe. The toilet seat had chunks missing! I had to line the seat with TP before sitting! The bathtub was equally gross. Visible mold growing and the tub was so worn it really needed replacing! Lastly, the towels were "gray-beige" -- yes, gray-beige and reeked of bleach! The bath mat should have been tossed -- it looked filthy (a darker,gray-beige). So, while there were a few "lipstick" upgrades (the curtains looked newish), the things that really matter have been completely ignored. For the money ($220.00), one would expect more in the way of cleanliness, especially in the bathroom!
Hotel conveniently located off Hwy 10.

Booking. Com did not have my Booking Cristina was great in assisting me
They gave me another room, because through Booking.com It did not register. I was so heart broken.

Noise from other room. Lack insulation between rooms. May have been that adjoining room had guest that were excessively loud. Bed was not comfortable, like sleeping on the floor. Pillows when fluffed appeared nice but as soon as you lie on them, they go completely flat.
Typical breakfast for this style of hotel. Staff was pleasantly friendly during breakfast, staff made sure I and other dining were doing well.

they can’t get their registration for the 20th straight. Booking.com can’t followup correctly with the hotel. the hotel changed the date but didn’t tell ur agents. it still shows confirmed. I’ll raise hell for this if u bill it

the staff interferes with business practices. they’re not following up with the booking agent at booking. com to change from a day to an advanced dates. causes customer concerns about doubling up payment. this Sunday booking for 11/20 should show at Booking.com change to nov 25th. it does not. what a mess with these practices causing problems for us all

This was a great stay. Very clean and comfortable beds. Staff was great. My daughter left her ear buds and they called us to let us know. Very honest people.

The woman who checked me in was very unfriendly, she didn't smile. The pool area could have been cleaner, there were cigarette butts on the ground and some trash.
The breakfast has great selections available, and the food was fresh. The woman who worked the area was very friendly and made a point of going around to see how everyone was doing. The two women who checked me out were very friendly and outgoing.
