How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The TV faced straight ahead in the bedroom, not to the left of the couch, not to the right of the bed straight ahead. It made it very difficult to watch the TV. That was my major complaint. I have to say they did move us to another room that the TV moved a little bit to the right
The breakfast was decent not a lot of choices. Good little omelette.

The washing machines do not accept coins; one must download an app. Breakfast is a copious buffet but not very appetizing. Desk staff rather cold.
Large, clean room. Near to river trail into town.

We were not aware that the whole hotel would be under construction, plastic hanging everywhere. I think we should have been made aware ahead of time

Everything was great!
Free breakfast in Napa is a gem! Hotel was modern and updated and situated in a safe location. Pleasantly surprised by the price and value of this hotel.

The a/c is so noisy and although has a sticker on the mirror telling that the cleaner comes each other day, we never had house keeping or towels changed.
The property is remodeled, very comfortable and clean.

Kitchen could have been better. Fridge was smaller than most suites at other hotels that don’t charge for a fridge and microwave. I paid more for this suite. We stayed at Best Westerns along the trip, and all of them had a fridge and microwave included. Some even had a range and sink for no extra charge.

Carpet and bathroom needs updating. Seal around shower was door was hanging off. Shelves for soap and other items coming loose.
Location was perfect for our traveling to other nearby locations. Breakfast was ok, met our needs.

Our room's air conditioning didnt work, so we had to be moved to another room. Which is hard to pack up with a young child

We did the half marathon in napa and got three wine glasses with the marathon info on them. We did not ask for cleaning at all but when we asked them to bring up towels they took the wine glasses and never responded when we asked about them. Very sad

Location can be somewhat sketchy but we didn’t find any issues with it! Pool was pretty run down

Need to pay for parking. Very disappointed that breakfast was served in disposable cups, plates and cutlery. We are in 2023 and trying to preserve what's left of the environment and I expect better from a chain affiliated with the Hilton!
We had an excellent room and the staff also prepared a pleasant surprise for us as it was our honeymoon! Excellent if you are going to Napa by car.

Parking was not free ($15 per night); not expensive, but a bit of a pain. You could hear people walking around in the room above us. It was pretty loud at times. It is not located near to anything you would want to see in Napa, so a car is required. Having said that, the downtown is only about 10 minutes drive away.
The facility is in good shape, not new, but well kept. There was a really nice outside fireplace area that was a bonus and the pool was nice too. Ample parking and access. The hotel is in sort of an outdoor mall with a number of good eating options, a Target, and a large movie theatre. The breakfast area was comfortable and the breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare, which is passable.
