Upon arrival I saw the facility was under construction. It was a shock to me. There was a hand written sign at the desk that informed guests have a right to cancel - but booking through booking.com there was a disclosure I had to pay in full and no cancellations. At risk of getting into a back and forth and hastily finding new accommodations I stayed. The construction crews were polite and noise wasn’t an issue. The only real inconvenience (possibly) was having to walk around material/tools/employees/ and not be able to exit out of some exits from time to time. We had two rooms reserved. Room 1 was through Booking.com the other my relatives reserved via Hotwire. Room 1: Booking.com resv. Water in the toilet bowl appeared to be running all the time, sink water was backed up, and some cosmetic issues like dry wall not painted or covered with wall paper and tiles at baseboard incomplete. Room 2: Hotwire resv. Shower head couldn’t be moved and the pipe connecting the shower head was loose - how, I don’t know. Same drywall exposure. Water pressure was low all around (toilet, sink, shower). It would’ve been good to give a heads prior to arrival . Once there we counted our blessings and made it work.

Centrally located to lots of shopping. Room was clean. A/C worked well. Pool area was clean. Breakfast was good. Staff responsive upon need.

The rooms are really low maintained,toilet never stopped flushing so was a running water noise all night, room bed sheets didn’t seem to be clean and had a unpleasant smell to them, pillows were very old and small.

The breakfast was really good and warm, and the workers were nice.

Roaches on bed & shower not working

Overnight to visit my Son in college. #206, shower broken. Room #306, big ass roach was crawling on the bed. Demanded refund-denied & told booking.com was who I needed to get refund! Front desk clerk. apologized profusely. She was very friendly but had no knowledge of how to resolve. Helped us by calling sister hotel! DO NOT STAY HERE! RATED WRONG AS HELL!! I don’t even want to use booking after this incident! 2nd hotel with bad rating & experience

Daily temperatures in the high 90's and low 100's F and the pool was drained apart from the rainwater. Using the pool at the neighboring property is not an equal substitute. Beds feature "half-pillows" - not comfortable for sleeping. Toilet tank screeches loudly when refilling. Breakfast selection was reduced - even by Hampton standards and the food was barely warm. Bathroom fixtures loose and stained.

Front staff friendly on arrival. Ample free parking.

We liked everything about the property, including free coffee and a nice breakfast. This did not affect us, but if you’re bringing a family with children. I think that you should know as of June 10, 2022 to the pool is completely empty of water.

The property was very clean, the staff was very friendly and courteous. Our room was very nice, comfortable and quiet. We felt very safe at this facility. The breakfast was very nice and the lady that was working it was very polite and friendly. I would return.
