Cleaning. Looks ok on the surface but like a lot of places lacks attention to detail.

Once we got there we noticed that there were five of us but only four towels but it was only the first day so someone could just wait and take a shower the next day right.... Wrong because no one ever showed to clean the room or offer fresh linens. Not only the next day but for our entire stay no one ever came to clean make beds take away trash replenish toiletries etc. We actually finally asked for more towels when we ran out of toilet paper in our room. The shower head was broken. The curtains were tore. The wifi barely worked and you had to sign up for some gimmick to even get that. That all would have been bearable but then on Monday we received a notification that someone tried to take 8195. Out of our bank account which flagged the account but not before they took 81.95 now mind you they overcharged us by around fifty cents when we got there. If he hadn't fat fingered the numbers I wonder how long before we would have noticed. If we were richer I wonder if we had noticed at all. The worst part is this was our first vacation in six years since I became sick and my family almost lost me. I lost my job of twenty years and it's been a long tough road to get to the point of even taking a long weekend away for my daughter's sixteenth birthday. I couldn't afford her a car and this trip to tour the college of her dreams was the best we could do. She is hearing impaired and has worked so hard she deserves it. I don't think it was more than they have a thief working for them because the morning lady did an awesome job getting us reimbursed and got our last day of the stay comped for us. I hope they fire dude because there was no reason to be charging us at all and if there was an issue it's not like he couldn't have called our room or my cell. I don't wish harm to anyone but if he is stealing from folks he shouldn't be allowed access to people's credit card info.

I liked the location and the price was pretty average. I liked that it had decent reviews for the newness because of a recent renovation. I also didn't see bad reviews involving bugs because I am not a bug person and they were clean when we arrived with no unwanted critters. The staff at breakfast and check in and out seemed nice enough although there will be more on that later. It is convenient to beaches attractions and dinning options. However that is all what I had known prior to booking and why I booked. I try to be diligent and research where we stay.

I hate to be picky but, the Hampton Inn beds used to be comfortable. I feel like this mattress was cheap. the sheets and towels felt like generic hospital bed sheets. Scratchy and kept coming off the mattress when we moved around. The room by the closet had the constant smell of BO. The couch bed was stained and very uncomfortable. I hate to say it, but I don't think I would stay here again with all the other newer hotels in the area that have higher quality products in their rooms.

The location was great. Close to UNCW, Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington waterfront. The size of the room was great. We didn't have the breakfast. Nice that it had an onsite bar in the evenings.

They provide us a key room 514 and when we open our room they were still people staying inside our assigned room with dirty trash room clothes all over the floor and smells. And we went down to clerk desk told them about to request put us in a new room 426 and then the whole room next door to us slamming door all night we didn't any good night sleep at all.

After doing research and reading reviews I decided to go with the hotel because it had such good ratings but there was a lot of noticeable hair in bathroom shower, floor, and sink area. There was also stains in the tub and on the door in the bathroom, maybe this is bc I last minute was put in a pet friendly room which I was told since I booked the room through a third party site, it didn’t alert staff that I had a pet with me. Beds were not comfortable at all, tore my back up. Asked house keeping for a broom to sweep up in bathroom and they brought me the most raggedy broom possible that should of been trashed.

On the up side breakfast was free and the location was great with all beaches near by.

Our room was partially inaccessible due to stuck door. We asked for help but did not receive any type of remedy. Housekeeping g cleaned the room once as requested however left no towels. We expected better at a Hilton property.

Cleanliness, condition of room met or exceeded what we expect from the brand. Staff was courteous.

The room seemed to be equipped with mostly older items, for example, the microwave, still had a turn knob for starting it. The refrigerator constantly froze our canned drinks and we had to turn our keys in for new keys because we could not get in our room.

The computers did not work. We ask for things that were never given. We asked for towels that were never given. We had to go down and get them ourselves. No one never responded to what we asked for. They would say yes we will take care of that, however nothing was ever done. We had to get it ourselves.

The breakfast was good. The room was okay. It was a little Claustrophobic.

My complaint was the shower. There was very low water pressure and the water wasn't hot. Lukewarm at best
