Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesYou could hear people walking on the floor above and if you stomped your foot on the floor it rattled the furniture. That was the only thing that we found a bit to our disliking. This would not stop us from staying here again.
Was clean and comfortable with modern touches. Plenty of places to sit and plug in technology gadgets. Breakfast was good and complimentary. Front desk staff was very nice.

I thought I booked a hotel with a full size refrigerator because that is what it said in the advertisement. I was carrying medicines that needed to be placed in a freezer. This was not available even though I but it in my reservation! Had to move to a Marriott!

United StatesCarpets in hallway was very outdated and dirty. The water barely trickled out of our bathroom faucet and the faucet handle was not properly attached to the wall so it was hanging out of its hole. The mini fridge was missing and I had to use ice to keep our stuff chilled.

United StatesFront desk was not able to provide a final receipt when I checked out which I thought was strange. Front desk person said I would have to get it from Booking.com. If you're going to take a guest's credit card number for incidentals, then the guest should be able to see the final bill to make sure it's correct and dispute charges right away if necessary rather than having to do it afterwards. I say this b because I have been incorrectly charged for stuff I didn't use at other hotels.

United StatesThe shower drain was clogged and it filled up when I was taking a shower. My partner told the front desk and all they said the drain probably needs cleaned but they didn’t come up to fix it. The grounds itself was a bit nasty. There was trash and dog feces on the ground and there was a dog that continued to bark over and over again. People in the halls were very loud. The elevators needed wiped down.
The room was spacious and clean.

United StatesI absolutely loved my stay at Hampton Inn Youngstown-North. The hotel was VERY clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Originally, I was booked at a different hotel (not good) and switched to Hampton Inn, even though it was farther from the area I was actually visiting. Definitely a great decision! This is a fantastic hotel and I plan on staying here again, during future visits to the area.

United StatesThe breakfast staff in the morning was very rude and not pleasant to be around. It was Christmas and my husband didn't even want to get breakfast because of her. Food was not made well at all. Also pool was not heated very cold!
Front desk and housekeeping staff very good hospitality. Very pleasant and always smiling. When we needed anything they were there with help and an answer.
