I had a $3 charge on my credit card which I did not recognize - OYO Hotels, before I stayed there. I called the number on the credit card statement and was told that it was not OYO Hotels. Visa thought it was fraud and cancelled my credit card. This necessitated getting a new card and informing several merchants who automatically charge the card each month. When I looked at the confirmation the day of arrival to confirm the location I saw this charge at the bottom of the email. I had not noticed this charge until then. I have never encountered such a charge with Booking.com. I Informed the hotel and asked them to take this off. It was originally taken off by Visa but was reinstated after I informed them that it as not fraud., The hotel has not removed this charge as I write. Please see that this charge is removed and instruct OYO to correct the telephone number so charges can be confirmed - this has caused a big inconvenience. Also tell them to fix the sign on the property as it was dim and the hotel was hard to find in the dark.

The ice machine didn't work, so they made ice in trays and filled baggies with the ice. They were prompt in getting us ice, so no problem for us. My wife showered the morning we left and the water went from warm to cold in 2 minutes. I figure adding greater hot water capacity is part of the remodeling. It had WIFI which was good, but a low end TV network. Again, no biggy for us. We watched a lot of Gunsmoke, Laramie, Big Valley and Gene Autry. The motel is carved into the side of a hill, so, first floor on the front side is at ground level. When you drive around to the back side, you go uphill, so, there is no climbing stairs to get to your room on second floor, either.Kind of cool. The second floor driveway could be wider, but everybody navigated it ok. There is also a lounge and soda machine in second floor which was nice...no food vending, tho. None of these things bothered us. We were well pleased with the economy and cleanliness and comfort of our stay.

We were on a budget and needed 3 nights. Thru Booking, this came out to just under $50 per night. The room was bigger than expected, plenty of room for the king sized bed. The mattress on the bed was more comfortable than our Sleep Number bed at home. It looked like motel was going through a budget remodeling. In our room, the carpet was older but was clean and well vacuumed. There was a heating unit on the wall that worked great and was precise at keeping the whole room evenly heated.TV was a Hitachi and worked great. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot all worked great. It 2 sinks, one inside bathroom, one just outside bathroom. Toilet, tub, and floor were all clean. Although there were several rooms rented during New Years Eve and Day, all was completely quiet. So, it depends on what you are after for your stay. It's not a Marriott, but it was perfect for us!

The carpet was so stained and just dirty looking and the white comforter was stained. The air conditioner had a ton of dust/dirt on the vent. The place is in desperate need of updating.

Loud noisy area located on a main road. Dated facilities. No breakfast available, although breakfast area was present but closed with no food both mornings. No staff, had to call owner to get room key. Located on same lot as an unconventional church, odd cultish feel.

Everything. It smelled they were doing construction. No ice machine working no coffee or breakfast the wifi wasn't working. It had old beds and bedding. Stains in the bathroom. Food on the lamp shade. I want a full refund.

I asked for non-smoking and they put us in a smoking room so the smell was very hard to deal with. There was not a good place to throw garbage away due to the garbage cans outside always being full.

It was a reasonable price and it was close to town. The towels were very nice and the people were very kind.

We had a confirmed reservation and Once we arrived they said they didn't have our room. Showed them my phone confirmation and they found us a room. Keep in mind the event we were attending had every hotel booked within 45 miles so going elsewhere was not an option. We were attending an outdoor event about 20 minutes away in 90 degree heat. We arrive back to our room the next afternoon hot and desperately needing a shower. We enter the room to a flooded bathroom that was soaking the carpet outside as well. We go tell the front desk staff and they tell us they will get someone up there. We waited 2 hours and nobody came, no plumber, no handyman, no hotel staff to even see it for themselves let alone clean up the mess. Finally fed up I decided not my floor, not my fault if the water destroys the ceiling below we showered and went to bed. Using the bathroom overnight was like walking thru a marsh. It squished between your toes as you walked across the carpet then you waded in the bathroom. We leave the next morning SURE they will address the leak while we were gone the entire next day. Arrive back that evening and no fans drying the carpet, water still running out from bathroom wall. We packed up our bags on day 2 of 3 and went home. Maybe the extra $$ they got to keep for the night we didn't stay can go towards fixing the water issue that clearly was not a top concern. That was just the room. The parking lot has holes that will swallow a small car. The lot is VERY dark so arriving late or leaving before sun up is not ideal. Will not stay again!!
