i wish i know early that was the fireman convention that week , because the people next to are room pull tables from the pool area and put them in front of the porch by my room blocking the entrance to my room , they was there to 1.30 am , making noise and been loud . so i gest the hotel rules don't apply for everyone .

Having enough towels and washcloths seemed to be the only thing we had slight trouble with. We had a double queen bed room for a family of four, two adults and two children. After check-in, we realized that there was only two towels and no washcloths. However, the front desk took care of that for us quickly. We had to ask for extra towels and washcloths again after housekeeping came through, but it was never a major problem. The only other thing that could have been better was the bed sheets. The beds were made with two sheets (mattress cover and thin sheet) and a polyester comforter. We ended up purchasing a blanket for each bed to make it more comfortable.

The pool area was great for the kids with plenty of chairs for parents to relax in the sun or read a book. The hotel cafe/restaurant was great too, just wish that it was open maybe and hour or so longer in the evenings. The gas grills available for use was also a very thoughtful touch for guests. We really liked that we could grill some fresh steaks or fish instead of hitting a restaurant every night. We really enjoyed the location too! The close proximity to the beach allowed for enjoying a beach sunrise while getting in a nice walk or run. Even just enjoying the morning or the evening on the room balcony was nice! It was surprisingly quiet. Parking was adequate at the Jolly Roger and we were able to park in front of our room every day no matter what time of day it was. Additionally, the Jolly Roger staff were all warm and welcoming! They were always great to talk to and helpful in ensuring a great stay!

The bathroom in the lobby by the ice machine could be bigger or another one be made available.

We loved our room on the first floor!! It was close to the lobby, restaurant, pool, and parking lot. The room was cute with a vintage, beachy, decor! I loved the vintage style refrigerator in a cool blue color. The microwave was also blue! The pool was a comfortable temperature to enjoy. We loved the little restaurant in the hotel, Antneys! Great crabby fries and burgers!! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Joe, at the front desk, recommended a wonderful restaurant in Cape May for dinner and it didn't disappoint!! The Blue Pig Tavern in Congress Hall.... We look forward to staying again!!

The ONLY downside was there was only 1 pillow per person. But im sure if we were there more than 2 nights, we would have asked up front for another one.

Everything was clean, bright, open and inviting. Location wasn't too far from boardwalk or beach, decorations were super cute, rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant was delicious. Staff was super sweet and friendly.

Grille concrete area and pool concrete could use power washing. Also, hose for sand at pool too long-hazard if not properly rolled. Would love to see several showers in pool area so sand could be totally rinsed before pool.

Room set up and the TV is in an awkward location. Air conditioners are LOUD. Not many attractions close to motel.

One block from the beach. Has a very nice pool with about 6 grills off to the side. A nice small restaurant is on location with great chicken cutlet sandwiches.

Excellent staff- always friendly and helpful! Room was always clean, pool area is big and relaxing. Located close to the beach and park. Had everything we needed for our family right in the room and enough space for 4 of us!
