Wish we had been given more info about the resort fee at check in + honestly the coffee shop guy is probably the most unpleasant person we interacted with during our stay

The air conditioning in my room appeared faulty, maybe check that out (1704j) - was SUPER noisy and I had to turn it off before going to bed.

There should be a little more shelves and hanging storage in the rooms. Bar for coffee is a bit expensive.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Arlo Nomad in New York City, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. While the standard rooms are on the smaller side, they are exceptionally comfortable and well-designed, making efficient use of the space. The chic, modern decor adds to the charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. One slight drawback is the limited storage space, but it's a minor inconvenience when you consider the hotel's superb location. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, the Arlo Nomad offers easy access to some of the city's most iconic sights and bustling hotspots, making it an ideal base for exploring. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and friendly, thanks to the welcoming staff who go out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The bustling lobby and communal areas provide a great space to relax and meet fellow travellers. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Arlo Nomad and am already looking forward to my next visit. It's definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in NYC.

The room was really small (as perfectly written at the time of the reservation) but the restroom was really tiny with no privacy at all

We paid for the upgraded sky room and the view was amazing. The hotel is located 1 minute from the 5th avenue: perfect location

Our initial room was close to the elevator and was noisy. The team did move us to a quieter room after our first night but I would caution people booking a king size room that elevator noise may be an issue.

The team at the hotel were outstanding. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. Rooftop terrace is perfect for a quiet drink with great views. We didn’t use the coffee lounge or the diner but they both looked good.

Would have loved to have an electric kettle in the room as everything closes down at around 8/9 in nyc and i am a caffeine addict of sorts.

The room had a great view, it was clean and the staff was very polite.

Very pricey for the size of rooms but to be expected in Manhattan. Could do with a little more storage space. And no coffee machine in the room.

Whilst most staff were friendly, the building is a little old and run down (hallways, elevators) and the elevators can take a long time. I had poor service from the barista downstairs and wouldn’t bother getting a coffee there unfortunately.

I loved my queen sky room! I was on the 20 something floor with a fantastic view and I could see the Empire State Building from my bed! The rooftop was accessible but off season nothing open, but this made for perfect sunsets (when it wasn’t raining) and almost 360 views of Manhattan ! Magical. The room was bigger than I expected and perfect for one person, there was room for my luggage, and I think would be reasonable for two people. The bed was very comfortable.

Small rooms not unusual in NY, floors could be warmed up with a bit of carpeting and yes you may have to wait a few min's for the elevator but these are hardly worth mentioning. Honestly, everything about the stay was great!

Great view and location, walkable to all mid-town sights and great neighborhoods to explore. Korea town has some of NY's best food destinations, Flatiron and NoLita just nearby, or walk over to UN, Times Square, Rockefeller etc. Rooms were very comfortable including the beds. I was there on business and the library/common work space areas was gorgeous - an ideal spot between meetings. I had a very early (pre-dawn) meeting and the staff very kindly made me a cup of tea and opened up the library for me. Great service!
