The staff were exceptional, courteous and helpful, especially in recommending a restaurant for a good lobster dinner. The Vendors Room had comp coffee and water and was a great place to eat our "bring your own breakfast goodies". Nice, quiet, convenient location, on the main highway in Bar Harbor, 4 miles from the town.

It was very clean and the staff was super friendly! It was convenient to drive into Bar Harbor and the main attractions of Acadia, but also to drive over to the quiet side of the island.

The location was great, just a tiny bit out of town. There’s an excellent lobster shack across the street headed away from town. The staff were all exceptionally lovely. Great stay for a quaint hiking trip to Acadia. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

They have a nice little laundry facility but no machine for little laundry soap packets. There could be a reason for that but that stopped us from doing a load of clothes. No big deal tho! They have no breakfast but great that there is a fridge & micro.

Very comfortable bed, great size room, nice clean linens & towels. We were here for leaf-peeping so gone all day but the nights were wonderful & quiet here. Cute little places set up outside for eating or visiting. Bright yellow exterior...great guy at the front desk with info about everything at Acadia National Park. Hey have a nice pool but a little cool and no time to use. I'd definitely stay here again!

The bedding was a little dated, but I didn’t care about that because it didn’t feel or smell shabby, just an old style comforter. The bathroom (toilet and shower part) was a tight squeeze on my part to open and close the door.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years. This was my first motel. It didn’t have the funky hotel smell that’s common in a lot of the places I have stayed over the years. My room was in pristine condition. The closet bar near the sink was generous in size and everything was laid out smartly so my stuff didn’t have to take over the whole room.

the room that has the coffee and microwave, and tables and chairs to sit, says it closes at 9:00 or 9:30. My partner likes to do some work early morning if he is awake and was frustrated he could not use the room. He did not want to wake me up, and wished the room would have had the option to be open for his use.

room was large, very clean, bed was very nice. I Loved the location and there was a cute sitting area just outside my door to enjoy some coffee. there were two of each towel per person, which I appreciated. many motels only give one towel. The price was lower than most hotels and if you drive just five minutes closer to bar harber, the price jumps considerably, so I felt this was a very good value for the money.

I can't think of anything that I would change.

I loved the layout of the room and how clean it was. I was especially impressed with the daily cleaning of our room since most hotels no longer provide that service. Rich was sooo helpful in assisting us in our plans for traveling through the park. He gave great recommendations for local restaurants (Jordan's for breakfast was an excellent recommendation!!). We wanted to bike through Acadia and he made recommendations for the bike rental on Cottage and recommended an e-bike, which was a great idea. It helped us see more of the park in a shorter time frame. We will DEFINITELY stay here again when/if we make another trip to Bar Harbor. THANK YOU for helping make this one of our most memorable and enjoyable vacations!!
