Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOur rooms were in a separate building that was above the garage/maintenance area. Elevator did not properly work to go down so we constantly had to take the stairs from the 3rd floor.
Main part of hotel was great. Pool/bar areas were nice. Definitely would request a room on the pool side the next time.

United Statesthe room was freezing when we checked in...set at 66 degrees.... put the thermostat back up to 78 but it never warmed up higher than 73....VERY uncomfortable....my wife had to wrap in a sweater and a large towel to sleep and still was cold....

United StatesThe shuttle buss. The driver did not tell us were to get off at and when we asked, he said that was the last stop. We ended up walking 2 blocks back to the hotel. My husband is disabled and that was very hard on him .

I hope that everyone check out their receipt before they check out or your credit card cause the lady that is working at the main grill might be stealing from you!

United Statesthere were roosters running around. there was a disconnect between Booking.com website & hotel because I changed my payment method online yet they put the authorization before arrival on original card. upon arrival gave them different card for $50 incidentals hold yet they charged $50 & $44. very unhappy with the way payments were processed as authorizations still put holds against accounts. I did not feel the $14.95 on site parking for a Hilton member was fair either. the outside building lights in hallways & stairs need to come in earlier as I was walking to lobby in dark which was dangerous. Staff was nice.
