I travel a lot and these are the thinnest walls of any hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s embarrassing when someone you don’t know is head to head with you, separated by a paper-thin wall, and you can hear everything they are doing and visa versus. We had to whisper. For 3 of the nights the hotel wasn’t full, yet they put people in rooms next to each other. Also, there is no bathroom fan so we had to deal with steam everywhere.

The room set up was nice with a separate living room.

The indoor pool needed some ventilation in the space. Our room was very stuffy, felt very dried out and congested in the morning. The bar is closed on the weekend???

Bar and food only weekdays not weekends. Not a smart move for any hotel business. No outdoor pool in sunny CA which is very disappointing.

Breakfast was good, a variety of meal options. However, even though my booking stated breakfast was included, I was informed I had to pay for my daughters breakfast as she was over 5yrs?!? Still doesn’t make sense to me…

The only things that could have been better was the room stank when we first got it. A little air freshener spray would have been nice. Also, when we got our towels everyday we only got three towels when it was clear in our reservation that there would be four ppl staying in the room. Other places I've stayed at were really Intune with that. The first day we show up the house keeping usually notices or already knows there will be 4 ppl. So a towel is add shortly. Not here, we went the whole time being given three towels every day. We just got an extra towel from the pool area to supplement.

I really liked the location, it was across and down the street to really good food choices. I liked the fact that it had an in door pool, which my boys 9 and 5 took full advantage of. Too bad there wasn't a jacuzzi. The rooms were clean and I liked that it had shampoo and conditioner. I liked the entrance and the lobby area it looked like we were staying at a really nice place. The front desk folks were great. I liked the fact you can choose how often the house keeping came to your room to clean. We chose everyday since I like to have fresh towels everyday during my vacation. The Wifi service was good. Sometimes it was slow but it wasn't too bad. Check in and check out were easy and convenient. I love how we don't have to go to the front desk anymore. LOVE how Costco gas was right next door. That was a huge plus for us.

The bottom of the pool needs to be resurfaced. It was too rough and caused the feet of my adult son with autism so to bleed in the evening. He could not tell me I just saw the cuts and blood.

The only complaint I have was there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the door was so heavy you couldn't keep the door open to air it out.

I don't have huge complaints, but I really wish there had been a restroom inside of the swimming pool area; it was a bit embarrassing having to walk a long hallway, through the lobby with guests in it, past the diners at the restaurant or bar, and down another hall to get to the restrooms, all while dripping wet and looking like hell, and in my bathing suit no less! Lol. It was odd to me that the hotel would want their guests to do that. Another inconvenience was the fact that there is only one elevator for the BIG hotel... which resulted in a LOT of excess walking, because you had to walk to the lobby area every time you wanted to get to your room upstairs. I also didn't feel like the price of the hotel should have been so high without a complimentary breakfast of some sort. Lastly, complimentary water or even a dispenser would have been real nice; we were always thirsty while we were there and the bottled waters from "the pantry" are pricey!

Even though the pillows didn't work for me, the bed was very comfortable. Even my mom thought so, and she never thinks any bed is comfortable!! The room was also very clean and the hotel was quiet; no partying guests and I never once heard the door of another room close from inside our room. If I could have gotten more comfortable with the pillows, I think I would have slept like a baby! (Note that my neck problems prevent me from getting comfortable; otherwise I think the pillows were quality and probably very comfortable for other guests.) I also really liked that the hotel had a swimming pool. And all of the staff were fantastic! I've never checked into a hotel so quickly either, it was very nice.

we ask for non smoking room and when we arrived the room smelled of cigarette smoke. the whole two days the smell was horrible the window was not about to be open more than 1inch so no ventilation. it was a horrible experience.
