I did not like that I had to buy food to get a cocktail from the bar after a long day at the volleyball tournament. You lost a lot of revenue due to turn g us away

Hotel personnel neither hotel manager were able to find our reservation despite a booking.com confirmation number and confirmation email by the hotel itself. Garden Inn proposed to book a room direct with them and promised they would take care of the booking.com reservation with no extra charges. Staff was friendly and helpful, but guess what: VISA overview shows 2x the cost. Maybe the hotel or booking.com will refund after a series of back-and-forth emails, but it is a hassle and is surely not something you want to deal with after a vacation. Comfort suites (**) is closer to the SLC airport, rooms are as clean, staff is friendly too, breakfast is included, similar room is a lot cheaper and I did not have to deal with payment issues at all. My advise: Go there for a hassle free-stay.

We arrived late in the evening, tired from a long flight. Preparing for bed, washing in the sink, I realised my feet were getting wet - the sink was leaking from the waste pipe and had flooded the bathroom. Went downstairs to reception and requested another room. No apology, just handed me another room key. We then had to repack our things and move to the alternate room in the wee small hours. New room was clearly close to some services equipment which droned and cycled on and off during the night, keeping us awake. Exhausted and thoroughly miserable we went down to breakfast, to find the fresh coffee machine was out of order and the credit card machine was not working.

Location was ok. Shuttle driver, Martin was a star next morning, taking us directly to the car rental hub which he told us was closer to the hotel, as opposed to taking us back to the airport to wait for the rental shuttle.

My primary complaint was the strong fragrance on all of the bedding/sheets/pillows. I have stayed at other Hilton Garden Inn hotels without this issue. I used the towels for my bedding instead because I have allergies. Because of that I won't be staying here on my next trip to SLC. Pool wasn't warm enough for me to swim but that's not a big deal.

The shuttle service was wonderful as was the amazing staff. I am very picky about dust and this room was very clean.

The conditioning didn't work and there was too much perfume from the hair products in the bathroom. I tasted it the next day and it gave me a collar algeries

Nothing. Everything was great and the property was very clean.

I had a delayed flight and had to book a very last minute overnight stay. I purchased this hotel as it came with breakfast (included in the room rate). It was about 4 miles from the airport and they had free airport shuttle. It’s prime location to the airport, but I don’t know what else is around. I arrived late at night and checked out by 8 am so I didn’t spend much time here but it served its purpose.

The breakfast part was confusing because I had booked the room as “breakfast included”, but then when we got downstairs we were presented with a menu stating that breakfast was $9. In the end and after asking we weren’t charged for the breakfast buffet, which was mediocre and we’ve seen better ones on this trip at Hilton hotels at this price range.

We liked how close it was to the airport since we were only there due to missing a connection flight. The hotel is clean, bright, comfortable. The front desk is polite and responsive.
