Very crowded pool area! It was so crowded that it was hard to get a pool chair/recliner each day. The bathrooms at the pool felt like sauna!

The rooms were very comfortable and also great customer service at the pool’s bar. Denesha at the pool’s bar was fantastic, she was working hard and she took great care of us when we ordered food and drinks!

Our AC was very loud in the room every time it turned on. My room was located next to condos so it got petty loud at night with the tenants outside there.

Loved the location and the staff was friendly. The drinks were really good.

Furniture in room was very old. Chair was worn and looked dirty. Food was the same menu at all locations. Mediocre food. A few of the staff members spoke very limited English and were hard to understand at times. This only took a few repeats and wasn’t a major issue.

The property is as expected but the value for the price is not there. After 20 years in the hospitality industry, the room rates and food & beverage prices were over priced.

One elevator of 3 was broken the entire time, one only worked about every other time (the doors would open & close but not nice) so the entire property had one reliable elevator working. Very frustrating that you had to build in an extra 15 minutes just to get an elevator. Of course if you’re healthy they have stairs but being on the 8th floor & having bad arthritis that wasn’t an option.

The hotel & grounds are beautiful & well kept. The pools are big and pretty as well. The beds & pillows were very comfortable and staff helpful and friendly

Some of the staff attitudes, especially in the gift shop and when trying to have questions answered at the front desk; answers were sometimes brusk or rushed (pushy). Also, a suggestion: there should be a time limit on how long towels can hold chairs at the pool. It's not fair that people can not be at the pool all day, but keep the pool loungers occupied while other people are currently trying to enjoy the pool (maybe a two hour time limit if you are not at the pool.)

Room, Beach, location, pools, spas, gym were all very nice, there were a good number of all of these items, etc.

Saturday night was the Chamber of Commerce gala. :( However, Carly, at the front desk, was MOST IMPRESSIVE. Her very first question when I spoke to her regarding the parking failure, was regarding safety of everyone. Then she deescalated my issue and made me feel "heard".

The room was very nice, the location was perfect for our trip.

We were in the South Tower, and entry/exit through a side door, not ideal. Overall the hotel is a little stale, seems set up for large conventions or groups, not great for a couple. We like enjoying lobbies and amenties, perhaps little cocktail hour or daily glass of wine not much of that. Cabanas with beach view for $185 are off putting, and no one used them, took 3 days til we found the other small sun deck with views. Pool is Olympic sized for laps? Not heated. Would be great to have option for breakfast outdoors, ocean view. Finally, we ordered room service one time, they made us pick it up, and then instead of a nice red peppers and olives hummus plate, as per menu it was hummus and some pita, $18. Sonesta is better suited for a hotel (vs condo) stay on HHI.

Location near pickleball is perfect, 2 minute bike ride for morning lesso. And round Robin, also bike rental in building could not have been easier. Staff were very friendly, checking on us often around pool.

Ice machine on 9th floor was broken and nobody knew about it. The elevator malfunctioned and was a little scary every time it shut!!! 😬 The deck should really be looked at by the pool area, there are many dips, where people could trip. The carpet near the entrance from the beach smells like wet dog. The Blue Cafe baseboard exterior wall, was separating from the wall, couple of screws would help!!! For the price we paid for a 3 night stay, we should not see these issues

The hot tub was great, the room and view were great!!! Staff was very courteous!!!
