Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandWater leaks around shower /bath curtain and onto floor which then tracks along the tile grouting on the floor into the entrance way, making the floor in the entrance way into the room, wet. Best to position the bath mat on the floor close to the shower end of the bath to catch the water runoff.
Room clean and quiet. Arrived late and left early so didn't utilise any additional services. Close to SLC airport and free regular shuttle appreciated.

United StatesI don't remember the WiFi being that weak/slow when I stayed here last year. It was possible to connect and log on to my usual work sites, but the pages would then either load slowly or not at all, making it impossible to send/retrieve e-mail and large files. Ended up using my phone as a hotspot and going outside since cell strength indoors was also weak.
Great staff, friendly and helpful. Large room with nice bed, work desk and chair, TV, mini-fridge, large bathroom with all the needed amenities.

United StatesWe paid for a patio. The patio doors were screwed shut. when maintenance man came and unscrewed the door, well they were coming off the door track. The front desk ladies were not going to honor our free breakfast that was part of my booking arrangement on booking.com. She said that those things through a third party are not guaranteed. I said, oh like free breakfast? She said yes its not guaranteed, but if you become a gold member with the HILTON then it would be.
Location excellent! Room and bathroom super. Pool great.

United StatesFront desk staff was not so friendly. Slow check in, too many requirements. We stayed in other Hilton hotel in the same area and the check in experience was totally different... friendly staff, and fast. The restaurant was closed and it was not even 9 PM, only the bar area was opened. Our 20 years old granddaughter was not able to eat because the age, so we had to order take out food for her. When other adult in our group showed the PR driver license as ID to order "food", the waitress asked for our US passport..(weird) We won't stay in this hotel again. Not recommended.
Clean and comfortable room, close to the airport, free shuttle. The shuttle bus's driver was really nice and helpful.

United StatesOur room was never cleaned during the entirety of our stay. We were our of our room during the day for the days we were there. That was a bit disappointing. Our fridge was broken when we came in and had to ask twice for them to come and fix it.
The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff was polite.

United StatesSomehow, we were given keys to an already occupied room. Was a shock for all parties involved given it was around 11:30pm. This was an honest mistake, but surprised the computer systems allowed it to happen.
Convenient hotel with free airport shuttle. Large clean and comfortable rooms, easy to schedule a shuttle back to the airport to continue my trip.
