Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesRoom seemed very outdated - veneer peeling off back of bathroom door, older rug, stain on ceiling. Rug going down hallway was well worn - seams pulled up in places, etc. I expected more trendy from the photo's on website and how lobby was set up. Breakfast was adequate but the charge for $28.00 for fruit/runny eggs, dried out pancakes or a prepackaged( and unwrapped) pastry and a cup of coffee seems a bit pricey. Seagulls on the roof VERY noisy and woke me up!

Windows were dirty with finger prints and grease smudges on inside, Still had fallen food bits, crumbs on floor under the desk, had a small stain on bed sheets, nasty looking stain on ceiling and the smoke detector/sprinkler was actually covered with a towel. Nice facilities but we checked in around 3 and left around 5 to go out for the night, Starbucks, the bar or the restaurant were never open and it was a Friday evening. Closed when we got back around 11.
Good location right off the highway. Close for short drive into Port Chester and less than 1 hr to NYC. Easy parking, easy check in and easy check out.

United StatesAfter i checked in and was in the room the key was given to another guest who unlocked the door and came into the room. I called the desk and they gave the people another room. This did not make me feel very safe, to have strangers entering the room. Also, the elevator to the garage was broken.

United StatesThey overcharged me for parking which they fixed after I told them.The bathrooms need exhaust fans! When we left and drove away, the valet driver almost hit us with a car he was bringing up from the parking garage!!! He cut right in front of us making a left turn because he didn’t stop at the stop sign!!! If he’s miserable and hates his job, he shouldn’t take it out on aggressive driving and risk causing an accident.

Excellent if you like that but water conserving shower heads have come a long way. More positives than negatives

United StatesNo room service. The advertising said you could call the restaurant and order, then pick-up, but they don't answer the phone. Front desk said they couldn't help. The fried Calamari was awful, could eat it, also provided the wrong sauce. Just not the Hilton experience I was expecting. I paid for two rooms, the phone in the 2nd room didn't work.
