The prices are a bit high compared to where I live which is Dubai (considered expensive usualy). Room service even with small restricted menu would be nice.

Everything, the friendly and helpful staff, the large clean room with comfortable bed and linen. The shuttle service to Tampa airport. I couldn't switch off my A/C, maintenance showed up within minutes and fixed the problem immediately.

it was very clean and the people working at this Hilton were absolutely great and very friendly. they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I had been a Diamond member for years and now, since I retired I am down to basics but they treated me the same way as if I was a Diamond member. That says a lot about their level of customer service. Excellent. please keep it up.

When we arrived, the concierge said we received an “upgrade” to the 10th floor because they were “our” of rooms with a king bed. There were supposedly two queen beds, but it was a “nicer” room. That was not the truth. The room they “upgraded” us to was literally what you would see at a Budget Inn, with two double beds, but only for $250 a night. there were “wet paint” signs all down the hallways. The room itself smelled like someone had been frying food in there for a week and had to have an air purifier in it. It was nothing like the pictures online, and it was definitely not an upgrade. When we came back down to say that was not going to work, the concierge tried to tell us that there was nothing they could do and asked us if we dirtied the room. I was so upset at their reaction as we had the reservation for weeks. How could they give away the room I reserved and prepaid for? The “did you dirty the room” seemed really insensitive today. Eventually, they worked it out, but it made a poor first impression. The next day, we tried to go down to the pool, which is separated by a 6 foot privacy fence from the parking lot, but it was absolutely packed and there were no chairs. That was a huge bummer because the difference at staying at the Hilton and another comparable hotel without a pool was about an extra $100 a night. Also, you pay $15 a day to park. That fee is not mentioned anywhere when you book. I thought they advertised room service, but that doesn’t exist. However, you can order food from the bar and take it to your room. I am upset with myself for being cheap and not staying at a local resort that I know is leisurely and relaxing, but charges $40 a day to park/resort fee. I could have had all the amenities I wanted, including a pool, minus the room stress for an extra $25. Live and learn, I guess. An upside to our stay was that it was clean.

The smell of the room had a sewer water/cabbage smell. The hallways smelt amazing but the inside of the room was a little pungent.

Receptionist Erica at check in was very rude, and then charged me twice for the stay and refused to speak to the Booking agent when I called to settle things. Horrible experience. I'm definitely going to stay away from Hilton. They have poor customer skills.
